She came to our house and was so patient with us. You can also buy the disc, which is a huge plus. She also did our announcements and I have recieved many positive comments about them. All this, AND her prices are very reasonable. Pros: outstanding baby photos at your own home Cons: none!

I have been to other photographers and it doesn't get much better than J. Roe Studios. Her prices are reasonable and the quality is amazing! We can't wait to schedule my daughters 6, 9 and 12 month photos with J. Roe Studios!

As soon as I got engaged, I immediately began my quest for the perfect wedding photographer. From the moment I met Janet, I knew I wanted her to be my wedding photographer! We had an instant rapport and I felt like she really understood what I wanted. She listened intently and was able to expand on my ideas in a way that I could not believe. I really felt like her approach to my wedding was tailored just for me. Janet truly has a flair for taking the most unexpected shots and making them the most remarkable works of art. Her eye is so keen and detail-oriented and she always illustrates her subjects with a perspective that you never anticipated. One of my favorite shots from our wedding is one our wedding rings, my late grandmother?s handkerchief and brooch, shoes and my antique diamond earrings. It is the most breathtaking pictures I have ever seen!!! Janet?s talent as a photographer is second only to her personality. Her easygoing nature is so comforting and reassuring. Janet and Laura, her assistant, were able to quickly put my husband at ease while shooting our engagement photos. Having photographers as professional, discrete and unobtrusive as Janet and her staff is a huge advantage! This is also the way they are able to capture the reality of the moments...the laughter, the tears, the smiles, the mirror checks, etc....and they capture every minute of it!! Janet takes a personal interest in all of her couples and she ensures that each shot is reflective of their personalities. From the angles, to the surroundings and lighting, each photo captures the couple. I really look note of this while reviewing her website prior to our first meeting. Janet and her assistants have captured the most important moments in my life to date and we will forever be grateful for that! JRoe Photography has taken photos of my daughter at age 9 months and then later my daughter together with my son. I was impressed at how easy it was for her to get great photos in a short period of time. What I really appreciated was the convenience because she comes to your house. Within a couple minutes, she has found a spot with "good light" and she's already taking photos. She even brought an assistant so we had many, many shots to choose from after only a 20 minute session. I was surprised at how quickly the proofs were available online for me to view. What was really hard was choosing which photos to have her print because there were so many fantastic shots. I would highly recommend JRoe Photography for professional photographs of children, weddings, or any family event. My sister chose JRoe for her wedding and the photos were gorgeous. JRoe is affordable, convenient, and has great customer service.

J Roe Photography is absolutely incredible. I selected them as our wedding photographer because I wanted more candid shots of my family and friends truly interracting with each other rather than posed pictures. After meeting with them and seeing their passion for what they do, I knew they were the right choice for me. After our wedding, we were able to go online and view all our pictures and they mailed us a CD to choose what we wanted. I was so impressed with the pictures and everyone who views our album loves the pictures. We were in downtown Houston and some of the pictures they took were stunning. I would highly recommend J Roe Photography to anyone! They are amazing. See for yourself. Pros: Would Travel, creative, great value
