My pup was tested heartworm positive and most vets estimated $1200.00 for treatment! Dr. Tim Harkness not only treated my dog for heartworms for under $200 dollars he also properly explained every step as well as went ahead and waived the doctors fee and heartworm testing fee after finding out that we were charged $500 for a regular exam by a vet in Sugar Land. The staff member (Mike) who assisted us was wonderful and knowledgeable about the treatments that my dog will be going through. All in all I am very happy with the Humane Society Wellness clinic and big thank you to Dr. Harkness and his staff for making my dog all better again!

We had our two kittens taken in to be spayed. When we went to pick them up, one of them had bandages on her paws. They had declawed her! They had gotten her mixed up with another cat (which seems pretty hard since both my kittens were in the same carrier). They then blamed it on the the adoption organization that brought the animals in. They basically changed my kitten's life forcing her to be an inside cat. Five seconds of checking would have stopped this. Never again will I use this facility.

Although this is not close to home (30 minutes away), it will save you a lot of money! I bring my dog here all the time. At first we went to PetsMart to check out how much the shots will cost including a neutering. Yeah. We saved over half with the Houston Humane Society. The staff is nice and very knowledgeable about animals. It smells like dogs there but that's because there's a lot of dogs and other animals.
