I recently took my students on a field trip and boy was I impressed! The education staff was the best I have ever come into contact with. They were extremely helpful in every facet of my visit from taking my reservation to greeting my children warmly upon arrival. The attractions are top notch! I would definitely recommend visiting even if I wasn't on a field trip. We took the tram tour and were blown away by the quality of the tour and the professionalism and knowledge of the tram staff. My high school students thought getting to visit the actual mission control was "really cool". I had occasion to speak with the tram tour manager who was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. A definite must see!!
Pros: Tram Tour, Education Staff, IMAX
Cons: Food, not so great

Every single time I go to the Galleria, I always go in to check out this store to see if they have anything new and impressive. Each time stepping foot into the store, I tend to walk out with at least 3 to 4 artworks...either contemporary metal or abstract oiled paintings. The salespersons are helpful and are very nice and are willing to answer any questions you have. They respectively give you space while you browse through their gallery of artworks, while readily available if you need assistance. They even allow you to return the paintings within 2 days so that you can see if the artwork you purchased is right for your homes. Majority of the time, they have in store sales and you can even bargain with them. They don't do the whole "alright, I'll take $20 off of that painting," if you ask nicely, they will drop it from the original price by at least $200. Also, if you like to order a particular piece from their catalog, they would also do so and sell it to you cheaper than the price printed in the catalog. All and all, this store beats other art store competitors due to their lower prices. Trust me, I've been all over houston looking for modern-contemporary artwork and compared the prices. Other stores sells same artwork for more than what it should cost. I highly recommend those of you who plan to purchase artwork for your home decoration, go check out this store before you get rip off by other expensive art sellers.

More
The Orange Show Foundation for Visionary Arts is an organization that is committed to preserving and promoting outsider art. The agency's crown jewel is the former home of Mr. Jeff McKissack. Mr. McKissack was a curious character who had odd obsessions and the motivation and technical skills to do something about it. He transformed his home into what he referred to as a shrine to oranges. The rest of the world calls him a folk artist or outsider artist, possibly unaware of the true import of his own work. What is left though is a charming little world alive with the imagination of a sincere old man. Everyone ought to see this unlikely masterpiece. Whatever you call it, it's very cool.

This is a small museum that is worth the visit. They display a variety of old-time caskets, buggies that pulled caskets, and an unusual arry of funeral items. Each display has a written history of where and when it was used. There are celebrity items and a special computer you can use to look up and find where famous people are buried, showing photos of their gravesites. You pay a small entrance fee, but it's worth the price. A very unusual place you won't forget.

I've never knew you can learn so much at a museum. Here at the funeral Museum they have a display of modern day caskets to caskets used back in the old days. They show you carts that were used back then. This place is very very interesting. The cost of ticket is very cheap so you can take your whole family.

The Museum of Printing History is a small, pleasant museum that focuses on educating people about the history and technology of printing.
Although it's a small museum, it's a fascinating look at an industry that most of us take for granted, no matter how many times we pick up a newspaper or a book.
Highly recommended.

If you are in the Houston area, you must visit this small, pleasant museum.
It's focusing on everything about the history and the technology of printing. It is very interesting and you will learn few things that you don't already know regarding the newspaper.
Don't bring the young kids with you, as they will find it boring. This is not the target audience of this museum.
Recommended!

Mixture is the home of many young and talented artists in the Houston area. Mixture openings are fun and accessible. The art is often flavored with irony and satire but nothing too pompous. It’s a classy show space and a must for anyone looking to decorate their home with original artwork by local artists.
