i moved to Houston in 1993 and lucked up on finding the dollar movie. The first movie my 3 boys and I saw there was The Fugitive. Now their ages are 29, 27 and 23 and I have a daughter that is 12.... More
i moved to Houston in 1993 and lucked up on finding the dollar movie. The first movie my 3 boys and I saw there was The Fugitive. Now their ages are 29, 27 and 23 and I have a daughter that is 12. Just so happens I moved 34 miles away to Humble and will still be going to Windchimes. I don't think fabulous popcorn makes a good theater. The same thing still ruins a good movie outing; crying babies and parents who wont take them out of the auditorium.

We have been enjoying movies at Windchimes for over 2 years now!! They always start on time --seldom ever have breakdowns--are relatively comfortable seats---so you wait a "little while" for the good fllicks--We think the popcorn is great!!! and you certainly can't beat the price $ 1.50 to $2.00 depending on which day you go---Thanks--Carl & Bev--W.Houston

I am so glad that we found Windchime cinema. It is a small older theatre that shows movies that have been out for awhile. It only cost $2.00 - even at night! It is nicer than the average dollar... More
I am so glad that we found Windchime cinema. It is a small older theatre that shows movies that have been out for awhile. It only cost $2.00 - even at night! It is nicer than the average dollar theatre, although it isn't state of the art and the popcorn is a little stale! We love it because if our two kids aren't enjoying the show, we don't feel too badly leaving early.
