I moved into a little duplex from a loft downtown and I was freaked out about seeing any bugs at all so I purchased this service in Feb. 09. I stupidly signed a year contract thinking this would be the solution to my problems - but apparently their idea of "treatment" is to just put bait down in PLACES IN OPEN VIEW...like next to my CHAMPAGNE GLASSES and on my bathroom floor...etc. They came for 2 scheduled service appts and I had them come out to re-treat my back yard because my dog came in covered in fire ant bites. A week or so after the THIRD treatment in the back yard, I noticed that the back yard was still full of ants & my dog was still miserable. I called to cancel due to my dissatisfaction with paying over $510 for them to not accomplish anything and decided to take matters into my own hands. They still charged me $125 + tax(?) for a CANCELLATION fee!! They never performed their side of the contract - and I communicated this to them - but they said that without having a supervisor come to assess the problem - they would have to still charge the fee. I said that there is no problem now since I already had fogged and treated the back yard on my own and had seen better results than after any of their visits. Do not be stupid and use this company - go to the hardware store and do treat your own home. You will be richer for it.

ABC Pest Pool and Lawn is the most terrible lawn service available. They are NEVER on schedule, the customer service never calls you up about the change is schedule. They also expect an initial SKY-HIGH one time clean up which I thankfully got off. When I complained about the sloppy service in regard to my lawn maintenance the customer service person told me that I will have to PAY for the crew to come out again. This is really horrible and when I told the lady that this was not going to happen because I had PRE-PAID for the entire month's service and that I was requesting additional service because the service rendered was very sloppy (no bed clean ups, no backyard clean up and debris in the backporch and yard), the woman on the other end very reluctantly informed me that an inspector would inspect my lawn that day itself. As is customary no one came and when I called I was directed to a voice mail at first and then a person called and left a wrong phone number to call back. I had to AGAIN call ABC to get the correct number. I do not recommend this company to ANYONE. Please save your time and money and get yourself a better company

ABC Pest Pool And Lawn gives you a clean safe pool to swm in. Although I've not tried their lawn services I did use the Pool service. I went on vacation and wasn't able to clean my pool. When I got home it was green. They did a really good job and I would use them again.
