Well I've been going to this place for years, i got my first glasses here when i was 10 and now I am 19 and still using the same place. I have glasses and contacts the prices might be a little expensive but only if you don't have insurance. They are so nice and make you feel so good when you go there. For contacts you get free solution and supplies whenever necessary, and they also clean your glasses for free. Very nice people and very good doctor i recommend them to everyone =)
Pros: good doctor, very friendly people,

Competent, Friendly and Sensitive are the words that come to mind first. I've been going to Pulse Chiropractic Clinic for 20+ years, beginning with a neck problem that kept me from being able to turn my head to the right. My 4th and 5th vertebrae were locked at an angle. With muscle stimulation, traction and spinal manipulation, the problem was resolved in about 6 weeks without reoccurring. Several years ago I was on a ladder - 14' in the air when it collapsed. I broke bones in both feet and hurt my back. Using lazer treatments on my feet - they never had a lot of swelling and I was able to walk a lot sooner than I thought possible. Dr. Pulse realigned my back the same day and I was never out of work. It was Dr. Pulse who recommended to me that I have my thyroid checked when I had low thyroid. My regular GP missed the thyroid entirely.
Dr. Pulse will not take the heavy-handed approach to realigning the body. If the body doesn't move - she tells you to come back. I have visited a number of other chiropractors who will wow you with gimmics that don't work and you are in the same shape you were in before you went - but out the money. Others take a heavy-handed approach and tell you to ice it down when you get home. AND YOU NEED THE ICE. I have never had a bad experience with Dr. Pulse - I always feel better when I leave and usually have no muscle soreness - unless I wait too long to go.
I think Dr. Pulse could teach "newbees to the profession" a thing or two about sensitivity. She is a welcome relief to the profession. I recommend her without hesitation. If cloning were an option - I'd put in for a duplicate Dr. Pulse in my neighborhood. The fact that I traveled 40+ miles in each direction to see this chiropractor for a number of years should say something.
Pros: Quality, warmth, sensitive, competent - A PRO
Cons: Location - Scarsdale at I45 S

I've been having some menstrual problems for over 11 years. I saw many doctors for this problem but no one helped me untill I met Dr. Lu. He gave me a pulse check on my first visit and told me everything that was going on in my body such as the symptoms I was experiencing and what caused these symptoms. No one ever gave me an accurate pulse check like Dr. Lu did, even other acupuncturists I seen before. It was amazing! I received 10 acupuncture treatments and took several months of herbal powder prescribed by Dr. Lu which he mixed different ingredients of herb based on my pulse. The medicine and needles both helped me not only on my mentrual problems but also on other problems as well. And also Dr. Lu is very professional and his staff is very friendly and nice. I enjoyed my treatments in Dr. Lu's office very much. I would recommend Dr. Lu to everyone I know.

The Neonatal Intesive Care Unit at Woman's Hospital is truly an amazing place. Our son was born 6 weeks early, and in the middle of Tropical Storm Allison, which had most of the medical center out of commision. We were lucky enough to be able to get to Woman's Hospital, where despite the extra strain being placed on the staff by the chaos of the storm, they took wonderful care of both my wife and child. Over the course of our time there, we saw a lot of babies who were born much earlier than our son, and with significantly more complications. Seeing the way the staff (doctors and nurses) cared for the tiny beings, and their worried parents, was amazing. They also offered support classes for parents with babies in the NICU, CPR classes before your baby was discharged, great lactation consultants, and an annual NICU reunion. It's really great to go back and see the babies who were so tiny and helpless doing so well. We have a beautiful, healthy son and are very thankful for the wonderful and compassionate care we received and Woman's Hospital. It is absolutely the place we will choose to go when we have another baby.

I had to get an MRI from my Knee. My doctor referred me to heights diagnostic. Even though I couldn't find a review about them on internet, I decided to visit them for my procedure. When I called to reschedule my appointment they were nice and professional on the phone. They offered free transportation incase I needed it. Center was clean and it was inside a professional medical building. There is a pharmacy on the first floor, so I also got the medications my doctor prescribed. The radiologist personally visited me and asked how I was doing right after the test. That was very nice of him. He said the report is going to be ready in couple of hours which it was. Once I had to get an X-Ray of my chest, it took 1 full week before my doctor could tell me what was wrong with me and he blamed the imaging center for not having the report ready. I got the report the same day at heights. Overall I am very satisfied with the service rendered by heights diagnostics imaging center and I recommend it. If you live in heights, galleria, Montrose and midtown/downtown area, this is certainly one of the best I've been at. Good luck.
Pros: Very good service. Fast report. Conveniently located
Cons: nothing I could notice.

Last night my son got something in his eye and was completely miserable all night long. I called Perfect Vision first thing this morning, and they got him in right away – and were able to remove whatever that foreign object was. I am so grateful to them!
My son has gone to Perfect Vision for several years for his regular eye-care needs and they've been wonderful, courteous, and careful. I recommend them to you without reservation.
Pros: Responsive and knowledgeable.
Cons: None.

My husband had to have surgery a few months ago. Waiting for a loved one to have surgery is never a pleasant experience, but I was very impressed with how efficient and organized they were at Texas Orthopedic Hospital. They are recognized as being one of the leading orthopedic speciality hospitals in the world, which was a comfort in and of itself, and after our experience there, I think the recognition is well-earned.
The facility currently offers the following services: diagnostic and imaging services (such as MRI, CT scanning, ultrasound, etc.), inpatient and outpatient surgical services, sports medicine and surgery of the knee, pediatric orthpedic surgery, microsurgery and arthroscopy, trauma-acute and reconstructive surgery, pain management, and limb reconstruction as well as rehabilitation services (physical therapy, occupational therapy, etc.).
I get lost easily, especially in new places, but everything is clearly marked making it nearly impossible to get lost. The facility is immaculate and well-maintained.
My husband pre-registered (which he said was a relatively quick and easy process) and when we arrived, they had everything ready for him. His surgery was in one of the first time slots of the day, but we still arrived to a very crowded waiting area. Upon check-in, they provide you with a buzzer (similar to what you get in a restaurant when you are waiting for a table). They buzz you when they are ready to take you back to the prep area. I liked this because it keeps things quiet in the waiting area and it also maintains patient confidentiality.
The prep area was also well maintained. The nurses took the time to review the charts and put the patients at ease. The doctor and anesthesiologist both came to visit with my husband and myself to make sure that we understood what would take place. It definitely put my mind at ease.
I know that t
