I was greeted by a friendly salesman Abel. I told him I was interested in a leather sofa. He told me the sofa was high end leather. The sofa was attractive and price was great and I decided to also get a chair. I put down $100 and told him I would come the following day to pay the balance. I went home and goggled on Bi Rite. After reading the reviews I decided not to purchase the furniture. I went to several furniture stores the following day and discovered the great deal was not that great. The prices are inflated and the salesman makes you think you're getting a good deal. When I expressed my concern the negative comments I read the once very salesman abandon me. I went to the office and asked for my deposit back. I was prepared to just take a loss. I told the clerk I wanted to apply the $100 to another item which he agreed. I found a picture for $89 with tax about $96. They would not give me the change. I was just grateful to get something of value and get out of the place.

We bought a full bedroom set for a certain agreed on price one evening, we signed the contract, paid in cash and we were told to pick the item the following day. When we arrived the next day the owner refused to let the warehouse load our furniture in our trucks until we pay an additional $650. He claims that the sales man and the manager on duty at the time that approved the purchase made a mistake and sold the set for cheaper than they were supposed to. When I told him that I had a contract that states the items I paid for with the words ALL SALES ARE FINAL printed in big black letters and this is not my problem & he should honor a legit contract from his store even if the set was sold for $1, he started playing word games and finding ridiculous loop holes to try to get himself out of the deal. I could not believe that he was the owner of the place and yet he chose to make such a scene. I told him that this was simply unethical and he is an unhonorable man since he is willing to cheat & ruin his reputation so he can make an additional $600 in the sale. He walked around the show room cussing and shouting at his employees & floor managers for not doing their job right! He had no respect to the employees or the customers browsing the store. I had to pay an extra $450 and get only 1 nightstand instead of 2 to get out of the place. I was close to calling 911 to resolve the issue. I am filling a complaint with the BBB & I am never going to this place again even if they are 1/2 the price of any other place (which they are not!) I strongly do not recommend this place!

Cuando entre a la tienda me atendio un tipo sin educasion llamado Rocky el es latino. me vendio unos colchones que segun eran de muy buena calidad frabricados segun que por la compania serta y que tenian 10 anos de garania, me dijo que me iba a dar un buen precio si yo ledaba $20 dolares por abajo de la mesa. la berdad que cuando llegamos a la casa leimos la etiqueta y bimos que los colchones no eran echos por certa si no una compania llamada 5 strellas enseguida llamamos para aberse podiamos devolverlos y nos djeros que lla no se podia rembolsar el dinero que lo unico que podia acer era cambiarlos por otros mas caros. Mi consejo es que se fijen en el recivo antes de firmar porque ahi, el vendedor me atendio en espanol y nunca me explico que la venta era final ni que lla no aceptaban debolucion.me gustaria que un abogado nos representara atodos los que emos sido bictimas de esta tienda. NO COMPREN EN ESTA TIENDA O SE LLEVARAN UNA DESILUCION.

I went to the store to purchase a living room set by the time i left i had purchased quite more. Paid in cash, paid in full. It's been over a month and have not received all of my delivery. I've called several times, spoke with several different people. They have never tried to contact me about my delivery. Last night they show up at 11:30 pm to deliver the wrong item (without calling). I called to speak with a manager and this guy tries to explain (with an angry attitude) that there is nothing he can do. That he sent a better item in place of what i purchased. I told him that item didn't fit and that i wanted to file a complaint. He told me do whatever i want and hung up the phone on me. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Period.... By the way I still don't have my item.

My husband and I went to BI-RITE for a table set that I saw on TV and in the salepaper. The table in the paper has a price of 698.00 However when I was in the store the sales person/owner told me that was not the table that was on sale for 698.00 I couldn't dispute him because I didn't have the sale paper. He then told me he would make me a deal. Now the price on the table was 1239.00 he told me he would give me the table and the china/hutch for 1599.00 at that time the china/hutch had a price on it for 1099.00 . The total price came to be 2338.00 the saleman by the name of ABEL if that is his real name stated he would give me a deal from the total price of 2338.00 we finally negoiated a price of 1599.00 for the furniture. However I kept asking the sales person about the sale price of the table being 698.00 he assured me that was not the table. He asked me would I be paying cash. I told him yes and pulled out the money. However at that time I had 700.00 The clerk then asked me did I have a credit or debit card. I old him yes but the rest of the money was in a savings account therefore I had to go to the bank for the rest of the money. He then reached for the 700.00 ans stated let me hold this to make sure you come back.. I told him I would be right back in a few minutes.He then stated let me hold the 700.00 and I will give you a receipt for it and I will take off an additional 40.00 . Now the price is 1559.00 so I gave him 1559.00. We were scheduled to pick up the furniture the next day. Well when I went home I found the newspaper with the ad showing the exact same table was on sale for 698.00. I took the ad back to BI-RITE the next day and showed them the ad. The sale person/owner said he didn't know the table was on sale. I went to Bi-Rite Furniture to purchase a bedroom suite for my daughter. The owner (per the salesman) tried to help us. We decided to call the first company we visit to see if they could beat Bi-Rite. When they gave us a price if we paid cash, we went back inside of Bi-Rite to get a quote the owner was rude to us. We told him that we decided to pay cash. He stated that it would be like taking money from a prostitute. I was very upset. I am so glad we when to Landmark furniture where we got treated like a person and a better deal.

On our way to Gallery Furniture yesterday we stopped in Bi-rite looking for a dining table and chairs. We had been by The Dump and saw a few pieces we liked okay but nothing really great. Bi-Rite had a beautiful Dixon oak table with leaf as well as apholstered chairs that we loved. Our salesman, Abel was wonderful and helped us make the right decision. We got a Swweeet deal with extra chairs and it was delivered to our home in 2 hours. Wow, we will definitely furnish more of our home from Bi-Rite because they really will Save You Money! Ask for Abel. He is awesome! Pros: Get a REAL deal on solid wood furniture Cons: The big ostridge out front made fun of my husband's knees

Thanks for making buying furniture so easy !! I went to Bi-Rite today looking to buy Living Room Furniture and as soon as I got out of my car, Paco spotted me looking at furniture outside and introduce himself to me. I then look around inside and found exactly what I wanted and told Abel that if he could deliver by 4:00p.m. the same day, I would buy it. It only took him less than 2 minutes for him to tell me No Problem . We did the paper work within 5 minutes and the furniture was deliverd at 3:10p.m.. The drivers had a challenge of taking the furniture to the second floor without scrathing the walls of my home, and they did an amazing fast job as well. You guys ROCK !!!! Abel, Paco and the 2 guys who made the delivery...THANKS

The very same furniture i saw at several big name furniture stores i found at Bi-Rite for half the price. Wow! I didn't have all the money so they let me do a layaway at the sale price! I even went over their 90 day period for layaway. I paid it off and they delivered that day. My Dad, myself, and now my son have all bought from Bi-Rite with no problems. I read some of these reviews and it makes me believe that no one could please some of people.
