My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with Cullens. I read the reviews and had some concerns about the not so positive food and service comments that other patrons had written. But it was highly recommended by associates of mine. When we first arrived we were amazed at the fountains and the flame in the middle of the water. Beautiful.
There was free valet parking which we did not use but that was a great benefit. When we walked inside we could not believe that this place existed on Space Center Drive. There is no other place like it in this area - that I know of.
Jeff was our food server and he was the most polite and observant person we have ever had the pleasure of being served by. We started with the appetizer of rock shrimp. It was superb. We then shared the lobster bisque. It was the best we ever ate. The lobster was so fresh and sweet and so much of it!
Then we ate the brie and green salad. A very nice addition to the meal. The entre we had was the bone in Rib eye. We shared this as well. It was more than either of us could eat. It was cooked to perfection, served with onions, mushrooms, and sweet potato. We loved it.
Bottom line, we will go back again, as it was just a wonderful evening. Thank you, Cullens!
Pros: The ambience will blow you away.
Cons: None.

I'm a regular, and they have never disappointed. Their salsa is seriously excellent and I haven't found better anywhere in Houston. Good crispy thin chips, and FANTASTIC chicken fajitas with yummy caramelized onions and perfect hot, thin flour tortillas.
Also worth trying: any of the enchiladas and the (very strong) strawberry margarita.
You WILL have to circle for parking at this location and wait up to half an hour near a playground with shrieking kids. Then again, if you are a parent, there is a playground you can send your shrieking kid to while you have a strawberry margarita, so it probably depends on your point of view. So far, have always found the food to be worth the wait.
Pros: great food and drinks
Cons: loud, long waits

My husband and i have been going to Ra for about a couple of months now. The wait is long, but well worth it. Our first couple of experiences have been bad due to the service, almost wanting to ban Ra sushi, until this one waiter took care of us (Michael). He's really nice, never had to ask for anything as if he could read our minds. Never once ever had to wonder where my waiter was unlike most restaurants that we have been to. For those people who are having a hard time finding a sushi restaurant with fresh sushi and great service, go to RA. Make sure you ask for Michael though or else you might end up with a bad experience. Don't forget to take care of him as well : )
Pros: food and service
Cons: wait time

I work in the med center and I love going to Benjy's for lunch. Reasonably priced, eclectic menu is always satisfying! Service is prompt, but the place fills up around the lunch hour, so reservations are recommended.

My sister's boyfriend introduced me to this place and I am so glad that he did. BEST PIZZA I've ever had in Houston! Not only that, but I am truly big on customer service everywhere. And this place totally delivers! The guys there are so friendly and the establishment feels like a big family. If only I didn't live so far from Brothers...I'd be there everyday!
Pros: A+ friendly service, A+ yummy pizza
Cons: Long lines because it gets SOO busy, and it's closed on Sundays which is when I get the chance to stop by that area :(

Went to Ruggles for a friend's birthday party and had a wonderful time! The food was absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced. The wines were excellent and the desserts were fantastic. We were already impressed with the presentation and quality of our meals, but the desserts were truly amazing. Highly recommended if you want to impress your friends, family, or colleagues - but don't want to spend a fortune doing so. The atmosphere is fun, colorful, and not stuffy at all. This is my new favorite restaurant in Houston!!

I just recently visited the Azuma in the Rice village area and left more than satisfied. It was a Friday night and there was a pretty long wait. We went to the bar and got drinks and the bartenders were very friendly and prompt. It took us about 25 min. to get seated when we were quoted 15min, but when we got to our table it got much better. The server was very welcoming she took very great care of us and even recommended the Yellowtail Chili as our appetizer. The rest of the meal as well as our experience was awesome. I'll definately be coming back. Parking however was absoluetly terrible
Pros: warming staff, great food
Cons: parking, long wait
