This is a great small place that has many artist studios in it. There is some amazing artwork and a lot of it is very affordable. There are many different classes offered through the center and I would certainly recommend this place to anyone of any age. The last time I went here I saw a class being held outside on glass art. There were about 10 people in the class ranging in age from probably 18 to 70. There was even someone knitting a cover for their VW Bug! The whole car!

Great place to watch the Rocket's game. My friends and I had $10 tickets and they were still get seats. The only down side to sitting so high up is that it's not easy to get the prizes they throw.
The food is pretty good. One my favorites is the garlic fries. They can sometimes put too much garlic and not enough cheese though.
Parking isn't bad if you're willing to walk for bit. It usually costs $5-10.

OMG. This place is awesome.
If you're looking for a theatre to ditch the teeny boppers then come here. Only people over 18 can come and the food they serve is awesome.
They do serve alcohol and instead of just having music play before the movie, they entertain their customers with short clips of old movies and cartoons.
The food and drinks are awesome! This is the best movie theatre ever. The only downer is that the screen is small but they are trying to capture the old movie theatre style.
It's simply great.

Every single time I go to the Galleria, I always go in to check out this store to see if they have anything new and impressive. Each time stepping foot into the store, I tend to walk out with at least 3 to 4 artworks...either contemporary metal or abstract oiled paintings. The salespersons are helpful and are very nice and are willing to answer any questions you have. They respectively give you space while you browse through their gallery of artworks, while readily available if you need assistance. They even allow you to return the paintings within 2 days so that you can see if the artwork you purchased is right for your homes. Majority of the time, they have in store sales and you can even bargain with them. They don't do the whole "alright, I'll take $20 off of that painting," if you ask nicely, they will drop it from the original price by at least $200. Also, if you like to order a particular piece from their catalog, they would also do so and sell it to you cheaper than the price printed in the catalog. All and all, this store beats other art store competitors due to their lower prices. Trust me, I've been all over houston looking for modern-contemporary artwork and compared the prices. Other stores sells same artwork for more than what it should cost. I highly recommend those of you who plan to purchase artwork for your home decoration, go check out this store before you get rip off by other expensive art sellers.

The discovery of this amazing chapel was the highlight of my trip to the Menil Collection. I have since then returned more than a handful of times to show all of my friends my discovery. The beauty lies in its simplicity and amazing ability to use light. I could sit inside the chapel for hours just to relax. The chapel is a wonderful addition to the Menil Collection and definitely worth going back to a thousand times over. You must experience it for yourself because these words simply aren't doing the place any justice.
The collection includes the a dome and an apse that was ripped and stolen out of a chapel near Lysi in the Turkish occupied section of Cyprus in the 1980's, cut into pieces, and smuggled off the island by thieves prepared to sell them piece by piece. The pieces were rescued and the Church of Cyprus is allowing a long-term loan of the pieces in the new building designed especially for them. This is a must see stop on anyone adventure to see the great features that this location has to offer, the rough stone, opaque glass, and rich woods, to the extraordinarily spiritual effect.

Good: We have enjoyed everything. It is fun for children of all ages. Having a birthday party is the BEST! They take care of everything (including all the parents). Bad: when buses of day cares are attending it is too crowded and the noise level is deafening. Improvements: More attractions for bigger children. Other: Keep up the good work!.

There's nothing more annoying than going to a bar to play pool and finding long waits, short turns at the table, and too little space. Slick Willie's suffers from none of these problems. You and your party are assigned a pool table and a server. The wait is usually very short, even on Saturday nights, and you can play on as long as you wish. Since you pay by time, it's not a big deal if someone knocks the 8-ball in early on. The waitstaff is very helpful and delivers your food and drinks to you at the many stations to sit at around each pool table. It's a fabulous place to go play pool with friends in an environment where you can still sit around and talk trash - and hear it - with each other.

The perfect spot for lessons, parties or just a fun time, the Space City Ice Rink (formerly the Texas Ice Stadium) has all the benefits of the Aerodrome and the Galleria ice skating rink, without the higher cost or the crowding.
The Space City Ice Rink is available for rentals for large events, and provides a fun time for the whole family.
The employees are friendly and helpful, and encouraging for those who are less than confident about their skating abilities.
Skip the Galleria, check this place out. Have fun, and maybe sign up for lessons or the ice hockey league!

My friends buy most of their guitars here because it's pretty affordable compared to other places. The staff here is really friendly and are willing to help you find what you are looking for.
I'm thinking about buying a guitar for myself because my friend has been teaching me. I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy my guitar from here. When I get better, I'll probably also buy the guitar from here as well.
