When I first thought of watching the Houston Ballet I was thinking that it was going to put a dent in my wallet. I was really surprised to know that you can find affordable tickets. I also like how it's really easy to find parking.
A lot of the ballet shows they put on are really modern so it won't be boring for guys to watch. ONe of the ones I watched almost 75% of the time I was laughing because it was really funny.

I've never knew you can learn so much at a museum. Here at the funeral Museum they have a display of modern day caskets to caskets used back in the old days. They show you carts that were used back then. This place is very very interesting. The cost of ticket is very cheap so you can take your whole family.

I must say that this place was a little wierd. They have this stupid rule that even if a person is not play (in other words - if you are only there to watch) you must still pay a fee of something like $3 or $4. That is so stupid.
My friends (we had our kids with us) were ejected from the alley when we questioned why they charged the fee. The people were rude and abrasive. Not very good customer service. We were still allowed to play afterwards and they had a very nice scoring screen. It was animated very nicely. But overall, we were not very happy with it.

Let us say that you are not a basketball fan. Let us say that you hate basketball, despise it in fact. Well, watching the Houston Rockets in the Toyota Center will change all that. The new stadium is out of this world. There is not a bad seat in the house and the facility is unlike any other in the country. This new stadium will be the model for future stadiums. Tickets are very expensive but if you want a great deal, go to the restaurant inside the stadium (you do not need tickets to get in) and not only do you get a 5-star buffet, but you get to watch the game as well. Reservations will be needed.

I like going into that store and not feeling any pressure on buying anything.
They have a huge cd collection so you can find what you are looking for.
The staff is very pleasant and have a good music knowledge. They found me an album just by signing him a part of the song... WOW..
I recommend you go there for all your music needs.

My visit to the club was far more enjoyable than i would have imagined. From the tranquil setting to the location of the bars I could not have asked for a better club for my wife and I. We experienced no harrasment from anyone and had a great time conversing with the other patrons. Everyone seemed to get along and the club played music that kept us dancing. The music was top 40's at times, but mostly R&B uptempo. The DJ played our request and welcomed us if we had more. The clubs rules of couples only makes it enjoyable for us as a couple to enjoy without the harrasment the single men. The couples rule only is in no way to be mistaken for a swingers club. There are a few couples there that try to make a connection, but most couple are there to enjoy the non-harrasing atmosphere that plaques most other clubs. Single women are welcomed, but never pose a problem. The layout of the sitting area makes it easy to meet other party goers. This is my club of choice in Houston. The only club that can compare to the atmosphere is a quiet jazz cafe downtown.
Pros: Great atmosphere and music
Cons: Not open late enough. Needs to be opened as an after hours.

The Engine Room has a quaint & cozy vibe. Not the most attractive and accommodating place. You can miss the place as you drive up to it as the outer appearences look like an abandoned warehouse. Great place to see an 'unpopular' group as this place is set up for standing room only and does not have adequate air-conditioning. Get ready to SWEAT!!! Other than that, it has great acoustics.

This indoor putt-putt course is 18 holes of black light, glow in the dark fun for all. It is great for all ages. My husband and I love it and we even have taken our nieces/nephews and they love it too. It takes between 30 minutes and an hour, depending on how busy it is and how fast or slow you want to play. It is not your average putt-putt course and the staff is easy going and friendly too.

Cactus is a great movie rental place. For $1 you can rent timeless classics and for a little more new releases. Obscure music and movies can be found on the shelves of Cactus ready to be rented or even bought. The atmosphere is hip and contemporary, but still reserved enough for an old war veteran to rent, "The Bridge on the River Kwai."
