i moved to Houston in 1993 and lucked up on finding the dollar movie. The first movie my 3 boys and I saw there was The Fugitive. Now their ages are 29, 27 and 23 and I have a daughter that is 12. Just so happens I moved 34 miles away to Humble and will still be going to Windchimes. I don't think fabulous popcorn makes a good theater. The same thing still ruins a good movie outing; crying babies and parents who wont take them out of the auditorium.

I love how this park is really big and clean. There are always some people there but it doesn't get over crowded which is a good thing.
I like to hold birthday parties for my little cousins because they can run around and get exercise instead of having an indoor party with the kids glued to the games on the tv.
Memorial Park is one of the best parks I've ever been to. I think that everyone will enjoy it.

It's always worth it to check out this bookstore if you are shopping in Rice Village. It's quite big with two levels of used books and music. Sometimes, it's a hit and other times, a miss. The trick is to go without a particular title in mind. Half-Price Books will also buy back your books. If you are interested in everything from Gardening for Dummies to chiller thrillers, then this place can save you a lot of money.

I am pretty old to be going to be playing laser tag but I love the excitement of it all. It's fun and not that expensive. They serve food and so I think it's awesome!
Be sure not to wear anything white or light colored because you'll be seen during the game because of the black lights.
It's a great place for anyone looking for a good time for a couple of hours.

The Alley Theatre is an awesome place for everyone. I really enjoy watching on the plays they put on.
If you go on day of the show, the tickets are half-price. This does not include Friday and Saturday shows. They only take cash and checks so be sure to have something other than your credit card.
Tickets don't cost a whole lot so you can watch it more than once a year!

Landmark River Oaks Theater is a great place to see a film in a beautiful part of the city. I have always been satisfied with the quality of the films and the place is super clean. Price are compatible to those at other theatres. The bathrooms are beautiful. I will definately return and so should you.

I have a 4 year-old son and he loves to ride the train, and frankly so do I! The old train was fun, but the new train is a little bigger and really nice. The price is bigger too at $2.75 a ride. That being said, it is still totally worth it!

The best place I ever been to in the whole wide world. Everyone was so friendly it made my heart melt. Clean and immaculate. All the games worked perfect! You can tell the owner/managers know their business. I know this place will be around for a long long time. All I can say is wow...Wow!! Amazing fun. Thanks ZUMA!!!!!!!!!

I used to play Photon, so I was stoked when this place opened. It's really more for younger kids, but I still had fun reliving my younger years. The facilities are fine, and the arcade had some cool games. I can't wait to take my cousins there when they come to town.

Memorial Park is the place to go when you want to try to lose some pounds. A jogging trail loops around the park and is about three miles in circumference. This is a very popular park and is a decent location for people watching. It’s not uncommon to run into people you know and that can give you that small town feeling that is hard to come by in such a big city. The park is wooded and beautiful and has areas for picnicking and sports. There’s something for everyone.
