Great practice. They have a very broad selection and some very unique glasses. I happened to choose one of these pairs of glasses. After getting my glasses for a couple of days, I just didnt like the way the looked on me. I decided to call and ask what my options were, thinking I had nothing to lose. They told me over the phone that just bring the glasses in and they would replace them for me. I didnt believe it, but when I came in they simply took my glasses back and hlped me choose another pair - absolutely no charge at all and no questions asked. They have my business now for sure! Got everything I wanted and needed with a smile. I could never find comfortable contacts before. The doctor there was extremely knowldegable and flexible, allowing me to try several different pairs of contacts until I found a perfect pair. After 20 years with glasses I can finally wear contacts! As for glasses, I am extremely picky and hard to fit but they were very patient and had plenty to choose from for my needs. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgable. I highly recommend this place for glasses or contacts. Pros: Very helpful and flexible Cons: None, a had agreaat experience

They was a delay on my order but no apologies, and hung up on me. Plain rude. I called to check in the status and they said they would call back but never did. I had to call back again and they said it would be ready in another week, which is a total of 11 days which initially I was promised 4 days. Delays I can deal with, but rude staff I cannot. There was no apology, and they simply hungup the phone on me. Cons: don't know how to treat customers

I recently moved to Houston and went to Envision for a contact lens exam. The staff was friendly and very helpful in looking up my insurance benefit. The doctor was very nice and thorough. After updating my contact lens prescription, I was asked if I wanted them to order the contacts for me or if I wanted to order from somewhere else. Because my insurance does not cover contacts, I asked for the prescription, and had no problem getting my contacts online at all. My prescription expires after one year, so the previous reviewer must have wanted some different contacts or he wouldn't need to call Envision to find out that he needed a refitting. I am going back there again next year, and highly recommend that you give Envision a visit. Pros: Good location, friendly staff, thorough doctor

I had an eye exam in May 2008, about 7 or 8 months ago. The service was fine, the doctor was very nice, everyone was great. HOWEVER, today I attempted to order contacts from 1-800-Contacts with my VALID prescription, but the crooks at Envision refuse to authorize my order because "I need to come in for a refitting." Really? Less than a year after I had a complete eye exam? That is extremely inconvienent, not to mention an unneccessary expense. I will not be going back, and neither will my spouse, who recommended the place. I do not recommend you waste your time here. Pros: friendly staff Cons: GREEDY

I really liked Envision Eye Care. When I made my appointment, it was one of the few places that was open after 5pm and on Saturday. I was even a bit late for my appointment, and the staff said it was no problem. The staff was very helpful in giving me opinions on which glasses to purchase. The optometrist was very nice and walked me through each procedure she was doing, so there were no surprises. I really enjoyed my experience. Pros: Service, Convenience, Hours of Operation Cons: None.
