Great food--been going there for 15 years now. Try the chili rellano--wonderful. And she (Sylvia) even teaches cooking classes now. Service is wonderful and you only need one frozen margarita.
Pros: great food, hardly a wait time on busy nights as service is just great
Cons: take service is not recommended--always forget something for big lunch orders.

I waited tables for 4 years while in college, so I can usually tell right away when service is going to be awesome or stink... so generally I like to avoid casual restaurants with a wait staff and go to places like BW Cafe where you don't have to deal with a waiter. It's much easier when you are dining with a group too!
The food here is great, and there is a variety of choices. The coffee and desserts are good too. Parking can be a pain, but it's in Rice Village, so you have to go there knowing that parking stinks. I would park at Rice University and walk 3 blocks! :)

Some of these reviews are harsh and in my opinion untrue. I experenced nothing but courtious friendly service from the moment that I called about training for my pooch to the last class with my dog. My girlfriend and I went to the classes and the trainers were helpful and knowledgeable. I started out with an uncontrollable 6 month old lab and by the last class we were walking into the building (not skiing with out water) and jumping on other people was much less of a problem. I am looking forward to starting the Intermediate class in a few weeks. It has been a great experience all the way around.
Pros: Knowledgeable, friendly staff and they LOVE dogs!
Cons: I couldn't find any.

I have never used a moving company before, and wasn't sure what to expect. But the crew who showed up (10 minutes early) led by Edwardo Cruz, put ALL my fears to rest. Mr. Cruz did a quick walk-through of the house and asked a couple of questions before he gave his instructions to the other crew members (all before "logging in" their start time). They were quick and VERY professional in their work. All the furniture was wrapped either in blankets or plastic wrap. We were moving to Livingston (a 1-1/2 hour drive) and they arrived at the new house promptly and unloaded very quickly. All I had to do was stand at the door and direct them to which room to put the furniture in, and where I wanted it placed. I had no damage at all, to any of my furniture, or any of the boxed materials. I would definitely recommend them to any of my friends or family.

The Filet Carne Asada is pricey but worth every penny because its very tender and delicious! Their fajita specials are excellent because they provide a mix of different meats and they're served in a cool metal skillet. I LOVE their salsa and guacamole too. The frozen margaritas I'll admit aren't their best offering which is too bad because they're food is just killer. I wish they could get a better recipe. The Washington location is the better one in my opinion. The Richmond location is waaaay too dark for my taste.
Pros: Excellent Quality Cuts of Meat and Great Salsas!
Cons: Usually Always Croweded

i cannot stay away from this place!! people tell me i just need to pack my stuff and move there. i LOVE the plantain chips and cilantro dressing. the service is great, the prices are great and the margaritas and mojitoes are the best!! last night i had the chicken burger with sweet potato fries and i cannot wait to have it again. everything on the menu is so good. can you tell i love the place? thursday nights are good because they have a two piece steel drum band playing nice relaxing music. i have never seen a "burger king, trailer park" crowd at the amazon so i don't know what that other reviewer was talking about. go there, please, you will not be disappointed.
