Okay, a long time ago, I went to a salon on Richmond & Montrose above the place I get my eyeglasses. The only person who could take me was a heavy set man who freaked me out from the moment I walked in the door. He made disgusting comments in wich I felt extremely uncomfortable,while brushing up on me, to the point I left with out my hair styled or blowdryed. So after that I went to a salon up the street for years, guess what? About two years ago I am getting my hair done , sure enough,there he is THE"CREEPY HAIR STYLIST". And to make it even worse he remebered me ! If that was not bad enough his chair was right across from my stylists .So the whole time during my appointment he attempted to talk to me and still he made comments that I found very disturbing as well unprofessional. Now here he is @ Petit Chateau Icant get away from THE CREEPY HAIR STYLIST! So now I will find another place hopeing this will be the last encounter with the heavy set 'CREEPY STYLIST! I Suggest picking employee's who bring a little more class to your salon.

Upscale salon with GREAT service. This Salon gets it right ~ Veronica Bruce has talent that is hard to find in Houston. Before I started using Veronica my hair was really damaged from trying to be the blonde that I wanted to be. My hair is still blonde but super healthy. The staff at the salon is always friendly and over accommodating. This salon is worth the trip down even if you don't live in the zip code. Check it out!! I will never trust anybody ever again with my hair. She has always left me more than satisfied; i trust her so much that i just sit in her chair and tell her to do whatever she wants. NEVER have I been disappointed with any cut she has done for me. Plus I am a rocker chick who L-0-V-E-S to dye her hair-especially bleaching and veronica has always been there for me whenever I messed it up, just ask her. So needless to say her skills in hair color are amazing. If you just trust her once, you'll never trust anybody else. Pros: amazing hair cuts Cons: hair doesn't grow fast enough to keep trying different styles

when i first got my hair done there, they totally screwed up my color. i asked for blonde, they gave me orange. the haircut was completely AWFUL. i also noticed they treated their staff like they were slaves, not as equals. i saw the receptionist who DID NOT have a liscense being asked by Veronica to shampoo my hair. Not only did that make me feel uncomfortable but that it illegal. veronica treated her receptionist like a slave, i almost felt sorry for the girl. things like how a stylist/owner treating their employees like dirt makes it look like she was not raised well and does not know anything about professionalism.

I've lived in Houston for about 10 years now, and have moved from salon to salon...until last year. I decided to look up who did the Texans Cheerleaders' hair, and found Veronica. She is wonderful and very sweet. The salon is so beautiful and cozy, and everyone is super friendly. They're always smiling and happy to offer water or anything you might need. I highly recommend checking out the website, they have great pictures! Veronica has done wonders with my hair. I'm extrememly picky about cut and color, and have always left her place happy. Thank you Veronica!

I am a native Houstonian and have been going to Jon Henderson to cut and color my hair since he was cited in the best of Allure Magazine several years back. He is by far the best colorist and hair stylist I have ever been to and I am VERY picky!! I consistently get complements on my color, it is as close to my real color as anyone has ever been able to do. Jon is VERY reliable to give you a wonderful cut and color every time you go and is a very nice guy too! He even did my color in nyc when he was visiting there one time (at the Y!)--I was living in nyc at the time and refused to let anyone but Jon touch my hair. Talk about accommodating! He has a very loyal clientele base and I highly recommend going to him at Petit Chateau--you will not regret it.

First, I called this place to get a pricing on eyebrow waxing. Over the phone, they quoted me $12 a person. I booked an appointment for both my sister and myself. After we had both gotten our eyebrows waxed (and I got my lip waxed too), the lady said the total bill was $55. Needless to say, we were confused why the bill was so high so we asked for a breakdown of the price. She said that the eyebrow wax cost $20...each (and $15 for lip wax). We explained that we got quoted $12 on the phone but she wouldn't do anything about it. She, again, said it was $20 and left it at that. We had to pay the full bill. My sister usually has flawless skin and doesn't break out in pimples. Over the next couple of days, both my sister and I noticed that we were breaking out/developing rashes where she had waxed us. Our eyebrows and upper lip are itchy and have tiny red bumps where she applied the wax. DO NOT GO HERE! They will totally rip you off as well as give you an unpleasant rash. Pros: Nice eyebrow shaping. Cons: Price and skin irritation

With marriage and children I've moved to the 'burbs but will still trek to Petit Chateau to have Jon do my hair. I know exactly what I'll get each time I see him...a superb haircut and highlights. I receive so many compliments on my hair and have sent many "stranger" referrals to Jon. Believe me, I've tried to find another stylist closer to home but after every search I wind up going back to Jon so he can "fix" the bad haircuts / highlights. Jon's the ultimate professional...you won't be disappointed! Pros: Jon Henderson!

I thought I would have green hair forever after my last highlights, until I heard about Jon Henderson. I saw a woman in the produce section at Whole Foods with the most amazing hair. She told me about Jon. He has been cited in Allure Magazine, among others, as one of best stylist and colorist in Houston. She assured me that he could get the green out of my hair, and he did. I can not say enough great things about Jon. Jon requested a consultation prior to booking for a color correction in order to establish pricing, timing and goals, which were apparent -- "get the green out." I came back the next day for my appointment. I was glad that I had come for the consultation because we had to book more time for my appointment and I knew approximately what the visit would cost. Like a dream . . . Jon gave me the perfect shade of blonde and an amazing haircut, and then sent me away with an array of fantastic Aveda products. A great day. Pros: Highlights and Cut Cons: None

Veronica styled my hair for my wedding, let's just say she did an awesome job. she was there on time, she took her time with my hair and made sure it will stay still the entire time(which it did). my hair looked awesome for 10 hours(untill i took it down). she even gave me her hair spray and bobby pins in case i wanted to touch up my hair. she also gave me a hair cut a week before the wedding (best hair cut in my life) Pros: she knows what she's doing Cons: zero
