When I first moved to Houma, finding an ice cream parlor was on my to do list. I always enjoyed "going out for ice cream". When I discovered Scarlett Scoop, I was in heaven. I go there at least once a week (even in the winter). On a pretty day it is nice to sit in front of the store. I especially like the old parlor look. I had never seen anything like that except on television. Now I have one in my very own neighborhood.

When I first moved to Houma, finding an ice cream parlor was on my to do list. I always enjoyed "going out for ice cream". When I discovered Scarlett Scoop, I was in heaven. I go there at least once a week (even in the winter). On a pretty day it is nice to sit in front of the store. I especially like the old parlor look. Scarlett Scope Ice Cream Parlor has been around for SO long. I was a little girl having ice cream there and then my sons were born and got to expeirence the good ice cream. It was a treat after school to go there with the neighbor lady to get ice cream on the way home. At night sometimes for supper I will have the soft serve vanilla ice cream when I am feeling blue. Its soooooo good. It taste like the old fashion stuff. The strawberry sundaes are great too>

this is a great place to go and have some ice cream or a snowball (oh the ice is so soft). The have many flavors and can make shakes, sundaes, and floats for you here. There ice cream is high quality and they also have many unique candies to buy. Small place though with only 3 tables inside and 2 outside but a fun place the family will enjoy and great service too.
