We were stuck in Houma, LA on saturday waiting for our daughter to be finished at a baby shower, coming all the way home would have been a wasted time and gas.
So very glad that I wandered into Target as my choice for wasting time while waiting, time didn't go to waste. Inside of Target, discounted they had these silk bedsheets, olive green in color, perfect for the guest bedroom. They were a little more expensive than the regular cotton sheets I usually put into there, but I paid the price anyways, I think it was 22.90 for the set.While there I also picked up on a couple of cute picture frames that were discounted to two bucks each. Then I went down the other isle, my teeth almost fell out at this price not only did I get all the above mentioned items, but i got as well as a lamp for the guest room, get this 3 bucks and it had a shade. Oh I so love Target, so go before all the good stuff is gone.

If you're looking to put a decorative pond or need gardening supplies, you should stop at Outside and In. They have a lot of unique stuff to look at, they are worth a trip just to go looking around if even you don't want to buy anything and just want to browse. Sometimes you kind of have to get their staff to be interested in doing their jobs and showing you around and answering questions, that is the only thing that I can say negative about them, well that and the fact that they are a bit pricey. for your next project such as a water garden, pond, or some landscaping tools and ideas. visit them and see what they have to offer!

I have been to many Pampered Chef parties thrown at the homes of friends/family. If you are looking for similar items to these, Now You’re Cookin has them. They have a large variety of kitchen gadgets and some really great decorative serving items. A lot of stuff you can’t wind anywhere else. They’re pots and pans are really great too, and the prices are very reasonable.

Morrison Terrebonne Lumber Center is a good place to buy lumber for any kind of building project you are embarking on. They also have a lot of other stuff pertaining to kitchens, decks, patios, floors, walls, and bathrooms. They are pretty much like Lowe's but without the huge building and tremendous overhead. Their employees will assist you with anything you need if you ask them to, but you have to ask them because they won't on their own most of the time. I really liked the stuff that they had for their bathrooms there, so I bought a sink and a bathtub from them a few years ago. I recommend you try them out before you go other places. Their prices are reasonable, too.

I was pleasantly surprised by all the things that Morrison’s had. When you consider all the other larger home improvement stores in the area, they really have a lot to offer. They also offer installment services. It is nice to come to a smaller, local store. If you can’t find something at the larger stores, they may have it here.

My husband and his father have been working feverishly to install culverts into our front ditch. This is no small task considering the heat and humidity our area has for this time of year.
About two weeks ago, during the week, mid morning, dh and fil went to Lowe's in Thibodaux to purchase the needed culverts. They waited about 20 minutes for someone to actually wait on them, they made the necessary purchases, then waited another hour for someone to actually come with a fork lift to get the pipes at the top and help them load up the truck.
I realize that other customers were in the store making purchases and requiring attention, but at the same time, it appears that the Lowe's in Thibodaux is either understaffed or needs a better system of communication in place.

Jimmy Burton’s is the place to call when you need your A/C fixed or replaced. We called and got fast service the same day and they came out late just for us since we work all day. Mr. Burton himself came out to give us an estimate and it was literally thousands less than what another competitor charged. They are quick and to the point and have been very speedy in servicing our A/C when we’ve called.
