Great place to eat!! Love the salsa and the soup. The shrimp burrito is to die for!! I highly recommend it to EVERYONE!! Nice atmosphere and good staff! Get in at 11am get out quick!!

I like la casa del sol because of the atmosphere. the decorations, and everything makes you feel like your in mexico. i also like that you get alot of food, not just one fajita or something. theres a good variety, and good deserts. i dont like the location. its kind of hard to find. sometimes you have to wait to be seated, and the salsa is not really good. but i think its great for couples,and groups.the kids menu isnt very vast though

I have been to Mexico and tasted their dishes and La Casa del sol taste far from authentic with the prices for the food outrageous... I suppose this place gets alot of buisness because they have no competition in houma or at the other location in thibodaux. However the bar is great, I will give it that. But I would take the drive to morgan city for authentic mexican food.
