Everything at Big Als is great from the boiled seafood to the gumbo. All is so mouth watering! The crabs are always fat and full. The crawfish are boiled with just the right touch of seasonings. Big Al's is the best place on the East side for a good meal. It has a really awesome menu, mostly Cajun cuisine, and a laid back atmosphere. The food is awesome, and if you're in the mood, try their frozen cappuccino, it is to die for! My favorite dish here is probably the Crawfish Fettuchini Alfredo, it is really good and I haven't found a better match of it in Houma. Big Al's sometimes has a huge crowd because of its popularity, and that is probably it's biggest drawback, also the wait staff can sometimes be temper mental and annoyed. Try to ignore them and if the problem is big enough just ask to speak to a manager. Wednesday is all you can eat catfish night ! If you're in the mood for good Cajun food, head on over to Big Al's, its really is a great place to eat some great Cajun food!
