A great local theatre 12/31/2005

I love the Diamond Head Theatre because it show cases the talents in Hawaii. They have a lot of "local" performances which relate to the culture of Hawaii. When you see a show there, you will be amazed to find how much talent there really is in Hawaii. I think Diamond Head Theatre is just as comparable to the other theatres on the island, such as the Hawaii Theatre as there is no bad seat in the theatre. I'd definitely recommend going there to experience the local talents. Get your tickets early though, because they go quick. more

Showcasing Local Actors 12/29/2005

I always enjoy watching the shows here because I would say a majority of the cast is local actors. I even remember when Joe Moore was here for a show. How awesome to see local stars. If you want to do something different and support local actors and the local arts, then definitely think about watching a show at the Diamond Head Theatres. Parking is sufficient and I would say all the seats are good seats. more

Wonderful Theatrical Entertainment 9/25/2005

Diamond Head Theatre has delivered the best in live community theatrical entertainment since 1915. The theatre showcases Hawaii's finest local talent, frequently brings in guest artists and supports performance arts education through a variety of community programs, including the acclaimed Shooting Stars. They also have a wonderful costume shop that sells almost any costume you can think of. They have a costume for anyone from pirates to witches. They are located on Makapuu Avenue near Diamond Head. more

Great Entertainment 9/6/2005

This theater always puts on good performances and shows. Sometimes they will have a performance put on by local actors and actresses and sometimes they will have shows from Broadway. This is a great local theater and it is a great place for the community to see plays and watch outstanding performances. The prices are reasonable. more

Good Local Venue 7/9/2005

For a fun night out try Diamond Head Theatre. Different shows offer varied level of performance, but for the most part you will have a good night of entertainment. Of the 10 or so shows I've been to, I've left at intermission probably 2 times, but this is mostly due to my early bedtime. The shows are usually musicals. Don't bother getting the more expensive tickets, as all the seats are pretty close as the theater is small. Dinner & a show are a great date. more
