I love zippy's! Gotta have it place. I love the zippy pack, fried chicken and spam all in one. Even then I still want to get their chilly. Always a hard choice between what to get. It's a chain store so I'd go there whenever I am in hawaii at least onoce.

Each time I visit relatives in Honolulu I always eat at Zippy's because the food is delicious. The atmosphere and decor of Zippy's is nice and clean. Service is fast and friendly. I love the menu which offers a large variety of side dishes and meals. My favorite dish is the Zip Min which is saimin with all the toppings.

Zippy's is Hawaii's version of Denny's. They offer everything you could possibly think of. The prices are very reasonable. Zippy's is the place you come to when you can't decide what to eat. Famous for their chili (vegie and meat). It's worth the trip to the islands to check it out. They also serve Breakfast (11pm-11am), homemade milkshakes, and great fries. Eat in or take out

They are many other Napoleon's Bakery locations, but my family and I went here most often. This Napoleon's Bakery is located in the Sears of the Ala Moana mall, and even though it's small, it still offers a big selection of baked goods, from cakes and cookies to fresh bread and signature. All of the foods in the bakery are made daily.

All the Zippy's have a wide selection of good food at affordable prices. Kind of like the quality diners we used to have on the mainland years ago. Only in Hawaii, Zippy's has managed to not just survive, but thrive. Whenever we're running around and hungry, it certainly is nice to be able to drop into a Zippy's for some good food instead of the old fast food junk. We ate at this particular location a few nights ago, and it was very good. I liked the Spaghetti with Chile in particular, although others rave about the meat sauce. I guess that I'll have to try that next.
Pros: Food, selection, value
Cons: Service can vary

This is my favorite Zippy's location. The best chili and rice. It's clean and there is very good parking. And it's not overly crowded so you can always find a place to sit.

Zippy's is definitely a staple in Hawaii. They are best known for their chili, but they also have other good food plates, all with more food than you expect to get for such a low price. The funny part is that they charge for water - like cents-wise so it's still okay. I recommend the plate deals, any kind.

The food here is disappointingly second rate. It's an expensive restaurant, with small portions, that are just unimaginative. The flavors just don't blend well and there's not a lot of selection on the menu.

Most of my normal food stops in downtown are take-out-only, which is perfect for those of us looking for a quick meal to take back to the office. On the rare occasion that I take the time for a sit-down meal, the food has to be worth it.
Yusura is one of these rare gems. Although they do take-out, it's best to take the time to sit and be served. Service is fast and done with a smile. Refills of water and green tea throughout the meal are done without asking.
My favorite is the ramen combo for $6.50. It is a three-course meal consisting of a bowl of ramen, four pieces of gyoza, and a hearty serving of fried rice. There are also daily specials for each day of the week, such as a chicken katsu curry or unagi ramen.
