The Willows is a local favorite for hosting parties or other small gatherings. When you step onto the grounds, you’ll immediately realize why. It looks nothing like a traditional restaurant or banquet facility. Nestled in the lush vegetation are multiple, stand-alone structures in a tropical motif.
In addition to the regular dining areas, the Willows offers private dining rooms that are literally detached from any of the other dining areas. The only downside is that the buffet line is located in its own separate building, which means that each trip needs to be strategically planned to minimize the total number of trips required.
The quality of the food is excellent and the variety of desserts is immense. My favorite dessert is the molten chocolate cake, which is best eaten fresh from the oven (like most buffets, a good strategy and proper timing are very important).
Parking is pretty tight in the area, but valet parking is located across the street from the restaurant’s entrance. Limited self-parking (paid by the hour) is also available down the street.

I like dining at the Willows restaurant because it feels so homey with its lush tropical setting. I usually go for the buffet and get really stuffed. It is probably one of the few lunch buffets offering a Prime Rib station and offers Creme Burlee for dessert. They buffet is much better than most that I have been to in Hawaii. The quality is not bad and the price is about $18-20 for lunch.
I also had occasion to sit in their private rooms as well as their canoe dining table. Both have very nice settings and included a personal server.

Nice restaurant to go and it is a local favorite. Though my personal preference did not care too much for the price and the food. The food was okay, but it was not worth the price we paid. The private rooms are awesom and super private. The entire setting is what makes it worth it.

This restaurant has been around for a long time (since 1944). This is one of my family's favorite places to dine. I went to a baby shower here in one of their banquet rooms which was just wonderful. The lush tropical foliage and cascading waterfalls adds to the ambiance of the restaurant. They sometimes have live local Hawaiian entertainment or strolling musicians. They also do catering and hold weddings here.
