Recently stayed in Oahu and found this place to be the bearer of the grandest Mai Tais.
Located in the rear of the one of the swankiest hotels in all of Oahu (Halekulani).
For the most part most of the restaurants have the same layout there on the beach, however H w/o K has the best delivery of all!
Every night at sunset they offer live music out under a century-old Kiawe tree overlooking the ocean with service which cannot be beat.
The now $8 Mai-Tais seem like a bargain.
Get there early.. It fills up fast!

It’s a nice family style Italian restaurant with redvand white checked table clothes and very nice servers. However, the food was not at all what I was expecting. Having heard rave reviews from everyone about the place, I was surprisingly disappointed at the quality of the food. It was quite bland and tasted like they had just drenched the pasta in olive oil to give it taste. Insanely large portions of tasteless food.

My Grandparents lived on Kinau street when I was growing up, so we passed by Auntie Pasto's while driving to other destinations for years. For some reason, we never thought to eat there all during my childhood. I was always fascinated with the ambience the place emitted, however... the red and white checkered tablecloths and general warm glow of the interior - seen through the windows from outside. Finally, when I was a teenager and was asked where I wanted to go to dinner for my birthday, I rememered Auntie Pasto's. I was not disappointed with my selection. I enjoyed the sausage and peppers pasta I ordered immensely. Every time I have been here since, the service and food has been good. Now that I live in Portland, OR, I find myself missing Auntie Pasto's. I need to make sure I stop by on my next visit home.
Pros: Food and ambience.
Cons: parking - no lot and located in busy area.

With the 2-for-1 dinner deal in the Entertainment Book, dining was a pleasant experience - but even without the discount, I would definitely go there again - the alfredo is a winner! The atmosphere is cozy and romantic - just enough lighting to see your date and what you're eating, but dim enough to offer privacy from the other diners. The service is good too - waiters are attentive and knowledgable about the specials.

This is the pool side bar. They have a nice pool side menu and one of the best Mai Tai's you'll ever have. They certainly have quite a kick. The location provides an endless ocean view. A great place to enjoy an afternoon.

I love Matteo's for a date night. This is a classy upscale Italian restaurant. It is not uncommon to see the owner walking around and greeting people. This is where the Who's Who of Hawaii go for a upscale dining expereince. They have a great wine list and the menu is world class. They also have a photographer who will take your picture at the table if it is a special occasion. It's expensive but worth it.

If you like Japanese and Italian food then this restaurant is for you! An awesome blend of pastas with Asian sauces; pizzas & salads! My favorite is the tri-mushroom pasta....button, enoki and shiitake mushrooms in a shoyu/garlic sauce with friend onions on top. My husband and daughter also have their own favorites!
As another reviewer mentioned try their raw potato salad! You can ask to sample all of their salad dressings which are also available for sale.
Free parking in the building.
One of my all-time favorite restaurants!

Walked up at 6:30 pm and promptly were seated. Incredible interior...loads of pictures and fun things. Hostess took us through the kitchen (optional 'tour'). Our waitress was top shelf...turns out she is a corporate trainer and we can see why! Food was just incredible!! We learned we ordered wayyyy too much! Great doggie bag fodder! Treat yourself to something unique and price worthy in the near Waikiki area. I will definately recommend this restaurant to all tourists....for once they won't be ripped off and treated rudely like so many eateries near Waikiki. (I work in Waikiki and hear HORROR stories from tourists paying $40-60 per meal and getting zero value and service)
Check your Discover bonuses....$20 gets you a $25 gift card to Buca's!!
Pros: Great food, service, atmosphere, easy parking (free!!)
Cons: Got a little noisy as the room filled. Two birthday parties so we just sang along with them!

I'm from the Northeast, my gf is from NYC, and we can vouch that Antonio's is without a doubt the best pizza in the state of Hawaii. Nothing comes close, and most island pies are straight up inedible. Antonio's is excellent pizza, more in the CT style than NY, but still leagues above anything you can get out here. Highly recommended!!
