I normally try not to buy anything retail. Why? because typically I do my own homework and research so I know what I want to buy down to the manufacturer model number. A friend of mine recommended Kaimuki camera so I was in the area one day and dropped in. The staff was indeed very helpful and I did end up purchasing a small camera bag. As many of you may know, some items are difficult to purchase without seeing them, touching, feeling it in real life. They did not have a really large assortment of bags, but apparently they know which brands/sizes are the most popular and that is what they stock.

Great customer service, friendly employees, and location are only a few of the charms of this local camera store. Located conveniently on Waialae Ave. (near the Goodwill Store) for people in the Kaimuki area, Kaimuki Camera is the place to go to get your photos developed, refurbished, enlarged, etc. You can have your cameras repaired here, too. Employees are extremely helpful and willing to answer any questions or to chat with you about photography in general.

If you want personalized service & miss the old days of knowing your neighborhood store owners, then Kaimuki Camera is where you should go for all your photo needs. They can do all the fast stuff (IE 1 hour photo, quick enlargements, etc) but also can help in many other ways. Besides a camera repair shop, they have supplies & can help answer questions. If you like the small town, community feel of supporting your local businesses, then Kaimuki Camera is for you.
