Captain Pattie's is one of the "upscale" places on the Homer Spit. Now - upscale in Homer means that you get to sit down at a nice table, have a view of the ocean, and be served with real plates and silverware. The fish is extremely fresh (no surprise here). The portions are large, and the fried stuff is awesome (do the combo appetizer with clams, calmari, and shrip). The service is good, the place is clean, and the vibe is happy. They have a decent wine list if you're looking for something beyond the local beers. If you are on the spit and looking for a good meal, you can't go wrong here.
