barnes and nobles is a great chain bookstore that i often go to to relax and read books. the prices are a bit expensive i think. you can get cheaper prices on amazon.com. however, it is a really nice place to go to read in a quite environment. i like to go there just to read the graphic novels there. in fact, i go there every afternoon after school to go read comics there. the staff is friendly and lets me sit there as long as a want as long as i dont block the aisles too much.

What more can you say? Barnes and Noble is the largest bookstore I've been to and has everything! I went there looking for particular books and found every single one of them and then some! There many be some book shelfs out of order, but you can look over that at their immense selection. Not to mention, the service is magnificent! When I entered the store, I went to the service desk to obtain an application, and the person working there was very friendly. Then, cashing out, I met the same type of behavior. The only odd thing about B&N is all the shady people walking around and eyeing you weirdly. But hey! What can you do about them? Barnes and Noble can make a person feel like home. That's the type of atmosphere is has.

I love this store...by far, it's my favorite. Brimming with books on every known subject (and a helpful staff willing to order anything they can get their hands on for you!), this place is the Mecca for book lovers. Downstairs you can find travel and computer books, magazines, language books and discount books, upstairs, novels, fiction and non-fiction and a huge childrens section that varies in age groups and story times and also poetry readings each week for adults. Big comfy chairs upstairs and a Starbucks cafe' downstairs to brew your favorite concoction, and you're all set to read for a bit, or hit the cd's and movies department and pick up a new something-something for later!
