I have been dining at Osho since they opened, the food quality presentation and service has always been exemplary. Portions are generous and consisten. The head Chef and owner is extremely dedicated to the highest standard of quality and service. One saturday afternoon one of my companions ordered a Hamachakam, it was not available but the staff called the owner at home and he came in and cut up a fresh fish to make this item for us. That is what I call AWESOME SERVICE.
I strongly reccomend you try Osho in Holmdel for Sushi. Sit at the bar and Say hi to David and Ni Sui san, tell em' Sebastian sent you.

Osho Japanese Cuisine consists of the freshest fish. The chef puts so much effort into selecting the right seafood to use for sushi or hot dishes. The dish that I love the best in Osho is Sushi Pizza. My favorite sushi include Palm Spring Roll, Firestone Roll and Sunshine Roll. Osho is a very comfortable and a warm welcoming place. Unlike most of the resturants that I've been to, Osho is decorated like a real Japanese restaurant.

Osho Japanese Cuisine consists of the freshest fish. I love their sushi pizza. It's the best dish to have. My other favorite rolls consists of Bomb Roll, Palm Spring Roll, and Sunshine Roll. My family and friends love the place. I go there twice almost every week! Osho is a really comfortable and a nice welcoming place. The whole place looks the most Japanese of all the restaurants that I've ever been to.

It could have been better.... this was a special night as I was entertaining two very dear friends on an important night. I could have gone to the new place on Route 35 in Holmdel, but I figured Osho has been around in this strip mall for a very long time; it has to be good, right? Well... it was just OK. One of the things that annoys the heck out of me is when the sashimi is not sliced THINLY! Thick slices of raw fish just don't do it. The service was good, it usually is in Japanese restaurants (there's an exception to that rule which I'll post in another review!) but I was turned off by the sashimi. Also, a bowl of soy beans (endame) was stingy. This is a very inexpensive appetizer, restaurants would do well to be generous in their serving size of this veggie.
