I love this place. Holmdel Park is huge and has many trails to walk on. There are several playgrounds and they have a picnic pavillion that is available for reservation for your parties and reunions, etc....
There is a great little food kiosk with clean restrooms, and in the winter, after sledding down the huge hill, you can sip a cup of hot cocoa alongside the giant fireplace.
Longstreet Farms in Holmdel Park is awesome also. The animals are fun to see and they have many demonstrations during the spring and summer months for you to see how people lived in the 1800's.
Free admission and parking.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Holmdel Park is a great place to go on a summer's day. The farm portion of the park is great for kids. They get to see a historic, working farm. They can pet the animals and see baby animals in the spring. They also do sheep shearing which is a lot of fun to watch. The rest of the park includes lakes, nature trails, bike trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, and much more. Many cross country runners train there because the hills make it a premier racing course. Just stay out of the runners' way!

This is a beautiful park. They have a cute farm, where children can see horses, sheep, pigs, and other farm animals. The entire park is many acres, with bike trails, exercise trails, picnic tables, lakes, and much more. There is a huge hill which is a huge draw for sledders during snowy winters. ALso, it has the premier cross-country trails in the nation!

I grew up going to Holmdel Park and got many outdoor wonderful experiences. They have a small petting farm that has pigs, ducks, etc that kids absolutely enjoy. They also have a few different ponds that people can go fishing in or to go and feed the ducks. Many people just go to have a picnic or walk their dogs. It is a really nice atmosphere.
