This is one of the older and much smaller SNS's. This store could really use a renovation. Its an okay store, but after shopping in the mega Super Stop N Shops, this a major letdown.Yes, it has groceries, but I want to enjoy myself while grocery shopping and this store just doesn't do it for me.

D'Anns is one of my favorite local restaurants. Their pizza (bar room style) is delicious. The staff has always been friendly, fast and efficient. The interior is warm, lively, and decorated with local sports memorabilia. I've had no problem bringing my son here since he's been an infant, it's always busy enough that a slightly fussy baby blends right into the atmosphere. There's always plenty of families dining here too, so I feel welcome with a child here. Their breakfast buffet on Sundays is a great deal also.

The Golden Pacific Chinese restaurant has been around for a long time. It's one of those establishments you can count on for good, fast, Chinese food, that's priced great. They offer the traditional combination plates and the Chef's specialties as well. It's a great place to share a scorpion bowl with friends or catch up over a pu pu platter. I find their vegetable lo mein to be my favorite---the noodles come in plenty of gravy/sauce, and aren't dried up like some other places. The atmosphere is what you'd expect, a little dark inside, but laid back and casual. They're open everyday till 12:45 so if you're hungry late at night in Holbrook this may be one of your few options. You'll be pleased.
