We went with HMS because of their guarantee of quality and the fact that they gave us insurance coverage. The pricing was guaranteed and all of the dates and services were detailed in writing. Moving to California is no short hop, so we wanted to make sure that we were well educated. Keith Orlandella, our rep, was patient and extremely professional. Also, he made sure that we knew our insurance options. My husband had been burned before by a long distance mover and I think that he could tell that we were nervous. HMS gave us $10,000 dollars of coverage and also guaranteed the pricing. We had a wonderful experience. As it turns out, we had a small claim on an IKEA shelf. (could have happened to anyone) HMS called within 24 hours and reimbursed my husband's credit card for the full cost of the shelf! No questions asked! The follow up was simply amazing. Start to finish, we felt just so comfortable with this company.
