Just moved into town and walked to this place. In one of the more bizarre experiences of a lifetime of dining- I sat at a table in the bar area and was asked politely if I was eating and drinking to which I responded affirmatively. Told a server named Jessie would be over in a minute. As the minutes ticked by: for a total 30 minutes, people on all sides were being served. The waitress protested it was not her table when pressed as to what was going on. Upon my further questioning as to what on earth was going on a belligerent woman who identified herself as the manager: Kelly McDonald told me that I was not being helped at her direction (after 30 minuted of waiting?!). My offense? I sat in the bar without being seated by her. I cannot really express my stupification at her bizarre conduct. I asked for the owner (named: Ed King) to complain and wondered about the world I live in. Worst experience in over 30 years of dining.

I am new to the area, and did not know what to expect when my wife and I went into Stars. It is a nice place the food and drinks were great. And the price didn't hurt my wallet! Pros: Clean, nice staff, good food. Cons: Lighting.....whish there were more!

Stars on Hingham Harbor has a good selection of salads and basic Americana-type dishes with an upscale twist. It's not that expensive (sandwich plates under $10, entrees under $20) and you can always rely on good fish at this seaside location. They do breakfast every morning and brunch on weekends. It gets very crowded with families on later weeknights and then crowded and loud with everyone else on weekends - the bar section is a good place to meet friends. The beer list is truly stellar and they have a "beer club" card if you come here often.

Stars on Hingham Harbor is a good reastaraunt that has good food and is right across from the waterfront where you can sit and look out at the water and see people boating and sailing. They have good food and are not really expensive and are an enjoyable place to go. They also have a part of it that is more like a bar setting and have all the big games on when it is football season or baseball season.
