The food here is incredible! Very large portions (we always have leftovers the next day); great, attentive waitstaff. The breadbasket is fresh rosemary focaccia bread w/olive oil for dunking (heavenly). It does get EXTREMELY busy on weekend nights. Be prepared to have a drink at the bar while waiting. The entrees are reasonably priced. The main dining room is inviting, however; there is a small dining area off the bar area (maybe 6 tables). This is a very cozy space with the fireplace roaring in the winter! Parking can be difficult when its busy. When in Hingham, don't waste your $$ on the Bay Club or snotty Tosca. This is the best place to go!!

I had dinner here with a good friend the other night; her boyfriend works here and she has been raving about it. The food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is great. Prices are slightly higher, making this a good place for a special treat.

Nino's is definitely one of the South Shore's best restaurants. I've tried everything from steak to chicken to seafood and have never been disappointed. The staff is great and the bartenders make great drinks. Excellent!

The first thing that you notice when you enter the restaurant is the smell of the wood that fires the oven.
The restaurant is a quaint old building that has been converted into a magnificent space for entertaining.
I have rarely enjoyed a meal as much as I enjoyed my lobster schnitzel with broiled pumpkin & squash.
The broiled cauliflower and vegetables gave the entree a delightful pop that helps balance the richness of the lobster.
The wood fired pizza was an excellent starter and was crispy and deliciously drizzled with walnut oil.
this was a delightful starter.
We were there on a Wednesday night for a business meeting and would recommend this place to anyone interested in a great restaurant for a date or for a meeting (Weekends are most likely loud and busy for a business dinner)
Tab was $280 with 2 bottles of wine and a nice tip
Entree I chose was $33.00 and most were $23.00 and up.
Was a beautiful place with great food.
A++
Pros: Great food, Nice ambiance, Friendly staff, Reserved online with OpenTable
Cons: Bit of a drive outside boston but worth every minuite.

Located on the picturesque Hingham harbor, Caffe Tosca is a romantic Italian bistro serving award-winning regional specialties at affordable prices. This beautiful glass enclosed space sparkles with its visible wine bins, crisp white tablecloths and rich earth tones. The paper thin flatbread pizzas - grilled over a oak and cherry wood fire with toppings like roasted garlic, yellow tomato, and sweet-smoked mozzarella - are the best I?ve ever had. They are so big, that they arrive on their own portable table. The homemade pastas, served in half or full portions, are simply divine. Try the goat cheese ravioli with sage butter sauce and pistachio; or the orecchiette with shrimp, corn and hot peperoncini. Delectable entrees include the shrimp arrosticini with arugula pesto and wood grilled asparagus; and the seared ?pork steak? with fig & sage polenta. The wine list is top notch and the service is the friendliest you will find anywhere. A visit to the heavenly Caffe Tosca - located in the quaint town of Hingham with its restored 18th-century wood-framed buildings and the original Talbots clothing store - makes the perfect day trip.

Stars on Hingham Harbor has a good selection of salads and basic Americana-type dishes with an upscale twist. It's not that expensive (sandwich plates under $10, entrees under $20) and you can always rely on good fish at this seaside location. They do breakfast every morning and brunch on weekends. It gets very crowded with families on later weeknights and then crowded and loud with everyone else on weekends - the bar section is a good place to meet friends. The beer list is truly stellar and they have a "beer club" card if you come here often.

The Liberty Grill offers the best pizza this side of gravity. It's thin crust and savory flavor are the reason these pies are no longer a secret. If you go in for takeout there is slim chance their world famous bartender know affectionately as "Guy" will let you leave thirsty. Back-up bartender Freddy may be slightly slower on the tap, but he sure make up for it with his daily sing and dance routine. Owner Christian Thompson's pleasant demeanor and welcoming smile will make you feel like a regular in less than a visit. In addition to the staff you will not find a more welcoming clientele. A corner bar where everone is family, they boast a resident lawyer, psychic, plumber, sausage man, construction guru, accountant, fish purveyor...........you get the picture. You're gonna love this place. $5.00 pizzas and $2.00 beers? No wonder I havn't been home to my wife in 8 years.
