When it comes to repairing your car, it's hardly ever a pleasant situation, but the people at Aamco in Hightstown were wonderful. They carefully explained what exactly needed to be done and why and compared to other price quotes I received, they were very reasonable. Plus, I felt confident doing business with the national, recognized Aamco brand.

Dishonest people. Had a ton of work done a my car here once and the next day while driving it the transmission went. Had it towed to the nearest repair station to find out that there was never any oil put back into the car but of course this place, who had done the original work, wouldnt own up to the fact that they made a mistake and forgot the oil.

Told me I needed new tires as the tread was at a dangerous level. They also said I needed new brakes as they were at a dangerous level. I didn't follow their advice. This was 10,000 miles ago. They just wanted to sell me tires that I didn't need. I had to take my car to the dealer as I paid these people to fix my exhaust pipe and they didn't. I asked the dealer about my tires and brakes and they said they were fine. At this place, the manager came out and told me that if I didn't get the tires there, I should know that I needed to have the tires balanced when I got my new ones wherever I got them. I did not ask about this and he just came out and volunteered the information and spoke to me as if I were an idiot. Last I checked, wheel balancing is included with the installation of new tires at any place. This place just wants to make money off of you, especially if they think you don't know anything about cars.
Pros: changed my oil for $15
Cons: tried to get me to pay for goods/services I didn't need
