This fresh water spring is an often overlooked place to take the family for the day or weekend camp out. The springs are clean and remain a delightful 72 degrees year round. Even when the park is crowded, you still feel as though you've got plenty of room to enjoy. There are areas that you can tube, snorkel, canoe and kayak. There are underwater caverns that experienced divers can enjoy. The campsites are right along the river and once the daytime visitors leave the park it's awesome.

City Boys Tire is the only place I take my car for tires and breaks! When I first moved out to High Springs I thought they would be too expensive. How can they get the same pricing as the "big boys", I thought. I was wrong. They offer the same prices and services as the big name places in Gainesville a the same prices. It's so much more convenient to take my car there. They will take an appointment or drop off. I've taken my car there before they open and it's ready to go by late morning. Good service, good prices. Give them a try!

Considering this is a very small town please don't expect too much. This is a small family run movie theater. The movies are current and the theater is clean. The family that runs it tries to keep everything very controlled. Unlike the movies in Gainesville you will find that they patrol the younger crowd and even have a dress code. It's a bit of a shock if you come from a big city, but it's also nice to not have to worry about where you are taking your children. Price is cheap. They even have a consession stand. Good value, limited movies and showings.

If you are lucky enough to find J& K run, don't walk! Get your dog in for training asap . We took our crazy, out of control dog to them and have a well behaved family member now. Pepe, Jose, Maggie, Katrina and the rest of the team are incredible! They are well known in the "dog world" and Pepe even works with scientists at UF to train the termite dogs.
They also offer boarding. This is great! They have a brand new facility with indoor/outdoor kennels. My dogs always come home (sometimes they want to stay) tired and happy. They play a ton and get loved even more.
The best there is!

The name of this "store" is underexagerated. It's huge! This place has about 200 (maybe more) different "nooks" that are individual stores. Each store is one person's treasures. You can find anything you can imagine from clothes to furniture, jewelry, glasses, pottery, pictures...really anything. It's so much fun just to walk around and see all the neat things. I never leave without picking up something. Prices are clearly marked. Staff is friendly!

This is the thing to do! If you have never canoed before it's alright, jump in and off you go. The canoes are well cared for. The staff is informative. The choices of rides are numerous. The moonlight canoe ride is great. Beautiful way to see the rivers, something most of us take for granted. Just a short van ride and you are in a different world. I highly recommend going on a canoe trip.

This is a great storage facility. They have availability of all sizes and are competitively priced. There is a gate with pin access that secures the site at night and on weekends. They offer monthly payment via auto bill credit card so you don't have to write a check every month. There is hardly ever anyone getting into their unit so you don't have to compete with them for "road" space. Good place to keep your extra stuff (aka junk)
