The menu was a basic Japanese Steakhouse menu... but when you go there you expect it.

A fabulous environment and a great meal. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. As an added bonus, the restaurant is open and airy, unlike most Japanese Steakhouses.

There are many Japanese restaurants around and we have tried many of them, but this is our favorite. The owner's nephew liked this type of restaurant and when he was asked where he wanted to eat he said that place that has the fire and sticks to eat with. So this is how it got it's name. They offer all the usual hibachi items on their menu- steak, shrimp, chicken, and vegetables. During the cooking at the table in front on you they do a volcano with a flaming onion that I have not seen done anywhere else. Also they do a dessert of bananas and pineapple that is very good. The atmosphere is very nice with water and light blond wood on the walls, etc. The prices are a little bit more than other Japanese restaurants around, but we think it is worth it for the atmosphere. There is plenty of parking and easy access to Highway 68.
PROS: Atmosphere and delicious food
CONS: Pricey
