Their store in High Point is conveniently located at the intersection of Penny and Wendover and they once I made my selection it took about a 1/2 hour for all 4 tires to be installed. Their showroom is very clean and you can look throught the large windows to see them work on your car.
They *only* do tires, so don't expect to pick-up an oil change while you're there, but their pricing and guarantees are great.
Hint: Sign up at their nat'l website ahead of time and a couple of days later they may send you a coupon over e-mail!

We have bought our last 4 Honda's from Vann York Auto Mall. They are really nice and not pushy. We are very picky about car dealerships since most are real jerks but all of the sales people we have dealt with at Vann York have been great. This is the only dealership that me and my family will be buying a new or used car from.

I love this place! The owner is extremely nice. I've always gotten fast, friendly service. I've never had to wait for a long time like at some other places. They are always willing to answer any questions I may have and always do a wonderful job. They have even done little extras at no extra charge, how great is that!

Archdale Tire & Lube is awesome! The owner and staff is great. I came out of the grocery store a few months ago and had a flat tire, got it changed and the spare was flat too! So my mom went there to buy a used tire and they were closing, but they were great and got the tire ready and sold it to her anyway. I needed another just to get me by until I could buy a whole new set, so I went back and bought one more. The used tires are priced cheap and are decent tires and they also have some pretty good deals on new tires as well.

The waiting area is clean, with seating and a television, and a window so you can watch the work on your car. There is a frequent buyer program; with a punch card, you can get every seventh oil change free, and there is no hassle when redeeming this.

The convience of this drive-thru is wonderful, especially when you have children... And the staff has been so friendly and helpful ( especially with complicated orders!).

Although we had to pay through the nose for a car that didn't have the blue book value of what we paid, it only took us a year and they were VERY understanding. If we were going to be late with a payment, all we had to do was give them a call and let them know.

For the last two years I've went to Porter's for my yearly auto inspection. The first year everything was perfect. But this year I ended up needing two windshield wiper blades and two front signal bulbs. I had waited for over an hour with five kids when I was finally seen. They finished with the inspection when I was told about the wipers and bulbs. I asked how much they would cost and I couldn't believe what they wanted to charge me, $41.34 for two blades and two bulbs! I told them I wanted to run across the street to Kmart and get the stuff and I would be right back. They said if you do you'll be at the back of the line and your entire inspection will have to be redone. Knowing I had a screaming newborn in the van and four other children getting restless from being stuck in the van so long, I'm sure they figured that I wouldn't want to do that and I didn't. So I just stayed and paid it because it was the last day of the month and I had to have it done. But I believe they are a total rip off! I will find a new place when my next inspection rolls around.

I will never take my motorcycle to this place for service again! The service department totally messed up my engine and caused $400 worth of damage. I had to get my bike fixed at another place, and this Honda dealer refused to pay for the repairs even though I provided proof that the damage was caused by his service techs. Guess what happens when you forget to re-tension the timing chain? You get two bent valve stems and no apologies! Moreover, the reason I took my bike in for service was to have my carb cleaned - and they couldn't even do that properly. Am amazed they are still in business after an episode like that. Next step: reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Do yourself a favor: do not take your motorcycle for service at Honda of High Point.
