My mom's really big on family portraits and we hadn't had a chance to do a big one in the past few years. So recently, she took us all to this local shop right in town, and we were done in a flash. It was nothing like all the positioning and moving around and messing with angles in other portrait studios. The quality was magnificent when it came out, and my mother was extremely happy with it, and that made the rest of us happy.

This is one of my favorite places in downtown Highland Park. Everything is a dollar and they have wonderful bargains as well. Like my title, if you buy 12 items, you get the 13th free. They have almost everything ranging from school supplies to body wash and cooking pans. The people are friendly and always helpful, and the small shop just feels nice and cozy. Always nice to go to on a rainy day with nothing else to do.

I used to not like this resturant. The place is kind of small and shabby and all the facilities are pretty poor but I've recently gone back once and the food was terrific this time. Previously, I had gone during peak times so the service was poor and the food took 45 minutes to come out. This time, it was much better. If you want some real chinese and/or shanghainess food, give this place a try.

Their food is excellent . This guy also owns Sawadee in Metuchen. Its SO good. My husband and I go to this place a lot. If you don't want it spicey thats fine but if you do tell them just a little bit. We used to get it with no spice then one time we told them just a little bit and it was unbearable. I would hate to see what a lot is like.

I had a watch that died on me two years after I bought it, and I was too lazy to get it fixed anywhere far away because it required a specific type of tiny battery. My mom took it to the store and got it repaired without telling me and surprised me one day. It was in perfect working condition, and it's still running today. The price wasn't so cheap according to my mom, but I think it was worth it.

This place is great. One of the things you have to get here is the steamed soup buns. They're described as juicy buns in the English translation, which sounds really weird, but they're basically just steamed buns/dumplings with a bit of soup inside them. The soup is precious! The aim is to pick it up and eat it without losing the soup. Other than that, their steamed buns and dumplings are their specialty so any of them should be good. They've got a menu just for dim sum if that's what you want. Their vermicelli soups are pretty tasty. I also had these dumplings that were slightly spicy coated with peanut oil, or something like that on them. I forget what they were called but they were delicious. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. Highly, highly recommended.
