My husband and I had just bought a house that needed new flooring throughout the whole house. Designer carpet was reccomended by one of our new neighbors. We called and the following day, to my suprise, the Owner came out himself and measured the rooms. We were in constant contact with him during the installation and are very happy with our new floors.

On some occasions when I need something different I go to Dulles florists. They not only have floewers but also gifts like fruit and picnic baskets and chocolate baskets. I once purchased the gourmet fruit basket which made a great gift for a loved one who was sick. Just for laughs they even have a junk food basket with Candy bars, lollipops, jellybeans etc that would make a perfect gift for a kiddo. I decided to give my loved ones such unique gifts after visiting this shop.

When my husband and I had an issue with the hot water heater in our new house, I asked him if he knew of any plumbers. He said "I'll just call my plumber." I said "um, okay, that's what I was asking." Then I realized that there was a company called "My Plumber"! That made a lot more sense!
I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but they two guys who came out were fantastic. They got to work right away, figured out what the problem was, gave us a quote to fix it, and got the job done in just a couple of hours.
They also took some time to teach us about hot water heaters and where to look for problems in the future, which I thought was a very nice touch.

Ice House Cafe & Oyster Bar in Herndon was a big disappointment. We love the quaint historic district of Herndon and have dined in quite a few small restaurants there but I will never return here. I ordered a cajun dish that I could not eat. My husbands duck was rubbery. The service was poor. Overall a very bad experience!
