La Pinata in Hayward is literally a 10 table restaurant and it's quite popular so be ready to wait if you hit it at the wrong time. That being said the food is worth it. The restaurant is just tiny and there isn't any fancy decor although there is a jute box in the corner. Otherwise...it's all about the food which also, isn't fancy. The salsa is hot hot hot and the chips are fresh and tasty. I love the tostadas here and my husband swears they have the best beans and rice you're going to find anywhere. I love this place and if you haven't been I'd suggest you give it a shot!!!
