I've been to Barnaby's for just regular dinner and I've been there for a function. At the regular dinner with my family, the food was poor and even cold! But the function I went to was a another story. They have a really cool private room downstairs with a big bar in the center and pool tables. It's such a fun, different place to have an event. The food for that function was good, still not stellar, but better than I had eaten upstairs.

This place is defiantly not for me, though it may be for others who like sports and cars. They have an outdoor deck, which is a rarity in the Philadelphia region and typically something I enjoy, but this one is surrounded by parking lot and West Chester Pike, meaning you’re sucking exhaust all night. Also, there are few places to sit on said deck as most of it is taken up by the giant bar. My whiskey was also obscenely expensive for a suburban bar with such a poor setting. I guess if you like driving to the bar and watching sports, it may be for you.

This American restaurant also serves as a sports ball. It is always packed, especially on game nights. Their number one dish is baby back ribs, although their pasta is also quite tasty. Outdoor dining provides a great eating experience. Don't come expecting to pay much, as the dishes are inexpensive. Better than Houlihan's or Applebee’s, it is your typical American eatery.

Ok anyone who lives in Delco knows about Barnaby's and has probably been there at least once (considering you are at least 21 years of age.) Barnaby's offers great chicken fingers, cold drinks and a nice mix of people. But get there early cause when the deck fills up the heat index raises over 100 degrees! But it's still a good time!
