When searching for a day care center for my child, I ultimately settled on TLC. This center runs out of a big converted house. When I toured the facility. I got the impression of a clean, airy center with enough room for all the kids. The staff seemed young and enthusiastic. The schedule of the day has structure and flexibility. TLC is a good, caring place

When I was looking in the area for a day care center for my baby, I absolutely fell in love with Great Beginnings. Let me tell you why...they have great big sunny windows which allow your child to be in a bright surrounding. The staff is friendly and well trained. The day has structure, there are planned activities even for the youngest babies, so you can be sure your child is getting stimulation. The only problem is they have a long waiting list, so you really need to be on the waiting list before you are pregnant.

When I was doing the rounds of local day care centers for my child, I scheduled a tour of "Friendly Faces." I was not impressed. Although the director seemed nice as well as the workers, the facility was dismal. The carpeting was worn and torn in places. In the baby room the heat came out of these old fashioned child-high registers that looked dangerous. The area inside was partitioned off strangely. The outside equipment looked dirty. I was not ready to leave my child in a place that just looked in ill-repair.
