This is a unique little cafe in the northern part of Kauai. It's a small little shop in the middle of a strip mall type place. They only have take out and some tables in the middle of the mall that you can get if you are lucky. The food there is awesome....the fries were awesome and the sandwiches we had were good. However, the best reason to visit is the desserts....lots of yummy chocolate treats!

This is by far the best place to eat on the entire island. We tried to show up for dinner, but they seem to close in the afternoon sometime. We tried the next day around lunch time and found it to be open. The burrito was so big we did not even need to eat dinner. The hot sauce was mind blowing full of rich flavors, and then the sweat came off my forehead from the heat. The wait was about 30 minutes after ordering, but it was well worth it. Try it and you will be amazed.

This is a great one stop shop for Island Soap & Candle Creations, Island Clay Works items, and artwork from galleries. Located by the Hanalei Dolphin Restaurant this is a great place to stop after a bite to eat. It is also the first shop when you enter the town of Hanalei, so be careful not to drive right past it.

We love the Hanalei inn for vacation. Close to the beach and a short walk to town. It's great not having to drive. We recently had a big family reunion and everyone raved about the accommodations. The units are well equipt with everything we needed. It's the best place to stay on Kauai. Great memories!

There is usually a line to get your order in at Bubba Burgers. However, it is totally worth it! The burgers are juicy and cooked to order, and the fries are skin on and salty! There is a wrap around patio with a very tropical view. Be sure to take the time to check out all of the bumper stickers and celebrity photos on the walls.

Sand People is my favorite store in Hanalei. The staff is friendly and helpful. You've got to meet Myrna...she is awesome! Unique shop filled with beach treasures of plates, kitchen accessories, signs, flip flops with rhinestones, lotions, candles, cards, clothes. Whimsical and Classy!

We went for dinner (only time it is open) during a recent trip and had a great experience. We had reservations and got seated promptly at one of 3 tables on the very pleasant front porch. The staff was helpful, including recommending the spring roll appetizer, and both of our fish entree's were first rate. Both of the other tables appeared to be locals, which is always a good sign.

I bought a pendant from Savage Pearls that is just gorgeous. It is a 14k gold seahorse holding a black Tahitian pearl around its tail. The salesperson helped me and answered my questions about the pendant. This jeweler also sells pearl rings, earrings and necklaces, and loose pearls. This jeweler is located at the Chung Young Village. The jewelry here is pricey but the quality is top-notch.
