This is a wonderful location for weddings and other kinds of large banquets. I have been to many of both here. The food is always good- not the most outstanding I have ever had- but bearing in mind how many they are usually cooking for, very good. The cocktail hour is by far better than the main course so always fill up then. You can actually get married right on the tides estate in a nice little garden. Very nice. Great for pictures. I have no idea what happens in the event of rain. You can check out their menu on www.thetides.com to see what kind of offerings they have. From some of my close friends that have gotten married there, I know that the prices are pretty decent- especially for what you can find in this area. One thing I do not like about it is that multiple weddings or parties are happening at the same time. Which for most people is not an issue, but was really one of the main reasons we steered clear of this place for our wedding. The rooms and decor are very nice and everything is very clean. It is a great place and there are no surprises which is nice.

I just had my wedding at the tides on September 21, 2008. The food was amazing! Scott our catering manager was amazing! And the hall was unforgettable. As far as price, it was cheap compared to all the other places we looked at. We got all the extras. We had our wedding upstairs in the crystal room. The bridal suite is huge. And the gardens are beautiful!

This is a favorite of my grandparents, and we have come for several family occasions. The waitstaff is friendly and never inconvenienced by the size of the party we bring in. The food is amazing and the portions are large. Most definitely worthwhile.

Morningside did our daughter's wedding. Neither of us are at all creative so we relied on the staff to decorate the church. I was thrilled with the arrangements on the altar and along the aisles. The arrangements on the tables at the reception were beautiful and the price was reasonable too. I encourage you to use this family owned and operated business.

The sandwiches are fabulous! If you want a special treat, ask for the "Touchdown!" It is not on the menu board ... it is their best kept secret! Fresh Mozzarella with roasted peppers - balsamic vinegar and just a touch of olive oil on a long or round roll! Just YUMMY!
Even better ... the 'friendliness' of the people who run the store and the workers there.

Their prices are typical but it's their service that makes them stand out. When they measure your floors for carpeting you won't have a bunch of little pieces left over. I actually got better quality carpeting for a lower price because the other estimate I got would have used several more yards to cover the floors. Go to a place you can trust.
