When this place first opened in my area, I was so happy. I'm a lover of chinese foods. This place had it ALL as far as I could see. Little did I know that it had WAY more than I wanted!
They display their sanitation grade against a wall that you won't notice until you've already eaten and are paying on your way out!
Being the wife of an exectutive chef and having served many years in food service, I understand fully the importance of a sanitation grade. When a restaurant falls below an A, be AWARE.
This restaurant has twice, to my knowledge been to the edge of being closed down with a B grade that was so near hitting 79, it's scary! The health department gives them a chance to change, but they are still allowed to operate. Who KNOWS what's going on in there.
After the last B, I never went back. If you MUST go into this place, DEFINITATELY look at the wall just inside the door to see what the sanitation grade is before dinning. Poor food handling can be deadly, and these people serve LOTS of seafood!

This fast food chinese place is absolutely incredible!
They use NO MSG, they are fast & CLEAN. Their kitchen is WIDE open when you go in. If you order and wait, you can see every move they make, while they make your order.
They are so wonderful that they remember many of their customers by delivery address! Anytime I go in, they know my order (creature of habit, I am!) and when I put in an order larger than just for me, they always include some extra egg rolls or something special just to make me know my business is appreciated!
The delivery service is wonderful too. You can know that just because you're not there, your order will be just as fresh and wonderful when they deliver it to your door!
Let them know what you want! Spicier? Milder? Every single order is made to order! Let them know and become a repeat customer and they'll know what you want before you ever order it!
This is a wonderful place to get chinese take out, the combo orders can practically be shared by two and it includes everything you want! VERY affordable, lunch or dinner and you will be truly treating yourself!

New Garden Nursery has the best plants in town. I have purchased flowers and shrubs from many places, and my plants from New Garden always out-shine and out-last all of the rest. They are a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for. If only I had my money back for all of the cheaper plants that I bought elsewhere, I'd be rich! New Garden also has a knowledgable staff, willing to help you find the perfect plant for your yard.

Of course the entire universe knows about Starbucks Coffee Across the limits of time and space.
I did want to say however, this particular Starbucks, of ALL the Starbucks I have been in, here and in different states, really does differ inasmuch as the staff, no matter WHEN you go in, are wonderful!
I always feel welcome there, no matter what. Whether I go in with my grown children, teen agers or my grandchildren, I really feel like I'm part of something bigger and better. EXTENDED FAMILY!
The products never waiver from perfection and the people there are beautiful... all walks and... well, just lovely!
I think we all take places like Starbucks for granted and we just naturally EXPECT the best, as they want us to! But there's just something warm and fuzzy about letting the people who make this place what it is, that it wouldn't be the same without them.
When I travel, I miss MY STARBUCKS right here in Greensboro, NC. GROUP HUG! hahahaa!

If you like premium furniture, but have trouble finding a good selection & prices in Portland, check out reputable stores in North Carolina.
I got very reasonable prices and good service from Priba Furniture in North Carolina.
I bought both Baker and Pennsylvania House pieces from them. The custom furniture was delivered exactly as I order it, and every piece was in excellent condition.
Their showroom is only in North Carolina, so you have to know what you want to buy already.

I've been here 2-3 times and never once had a complaint. Even though they are busy you never have to wait long in the waiting room (as compared to other offices) and the wait for the doctor is not too bad either. The doctors and nurses are very kind and you feel like they really care about keeping you healthy. I always felt like I was in good hands and never worried over anything. The building is a little difficult to get to and parking can be annoying, but other than that this place is terrific.

This is a really eclectic, little store. The outside always reminded me of a gingerbread house from fairy tales, but the inside is actually a gift shop literally chock full of the coolest gifts you'll find anywhere. It's mainly gifts for women and the prices range depending on the type of gift. There are soaps and lotions, purses, magnets, jewelry, clever books, and more. Everything's very unique so you don't have to worry about giving a gift someone already has.
