Everytime i would like to just go buy a book and read it i go to barnes & noble. I like the fact that you can actually sit down and read a little bit if the book before you buy it just to make sure that this is the book that I want.

If you love to read as much as I do, you must try Ed Mackays! I would go broke if I had to pay full price for all the books I read and want to keep. Ed Mackays is an affordable solution to my addiction. I can usually find bags full of books to take home to last me for another week or two. Ed Mackays sells mainly used paper back books, some hard backed books, games, movies, and cds. So my husband can go and find cds and games, while I browse the books. And they will purchase used books, games, movies, cds for store credit. The staff is usually helpful and knowledgeable. For book lovers, this is the place to be.

My dad spends a lot of time at Christian bookstores, being a pastor and all and he really likes Logos. I have been in a few times and feel like they do have a pretty good selection for you to choose from. They have all the different translations of the Bible, fiction, the Veggie Tales videos and DVDs, and lots more. Check it out if you are shopping for Christian or just uplifiting literature in Greensboro. The store is right off if Battleground and very easy to find!

Ed McKay Used Books is the place to take all your second hand books. I was selling my books at yard sales for approximately .50 cents each until a friend told me about this store. Now I take everything there first. You have a couple of options when you take stuff in. You can get a store credit (which is the better way to go if you plan to buy anything because they give you a higher value for your items) or you can just get cash. The downside to this store is the parking. I can’t think of a worse place to park. Your better off to park up or down the street and walk up on a busy day. Its even worse on the days that the sporting goods store next to them has something going on. Anyway besides the parking I think you will be very happy with this store. They have a large selection of used books, dvd’s, videos, computer game, play station games etc.
