I went to Tangles Hair Studio for years and it is a very nice place. The decor is aesthetically pleasing, and they are always adding new touches. It feels like a salon in a bigger city than Greensboro. The prices are very competitive with other quality salons, and the staff turnover rate seems very low. My only "complaint" would be that the staff often talk among themselves, and I sometimes felt invisible. I like for my stylist to talk to me while she/he is working on me.

The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting at Tangles. The staff is very friendly. My stylist is always open to my thoughts/ideas for my hair. And she is quite honest also: willing to tell me when something I might think would look good, won't. That is a great quality to have in a hair stylist. A few of my friends also frequent Tangles -- all have a different stylist and all have great things to say about the salon. Parking is very plentiful. Hours are convenient -- the owner lets the stylists make their own hours, so if you call the store, they can definitely recommend a stylist who works the hours you need. The only negative I have is the prices -- they seem a bit high. However, I know for this area of Greensboro, they are the norm.
