I heartily recommend Great Falls Animal Hospital. If your pet needs surgery, Great Falls Animal Hospital, unlike many other animal hospitals, has both a surgeon and someone to monitor your pet's anesthesia present during surgery.
My geriatric dog developed kidney failure along with other health problems, and Dr. Anne Garood and the rest of the kind and caring staff helped me to keep my dog comfortable enough to enjoy a good quality of life for more than a year??????something his bloodwork did not indicate as likely.
Dr. Garood stayed late at the office more than once doing extra research on the specific needs of my dog--including calling on specialists she knew for more information--returning my endless phone calls and discussing ways to help me help my dog. She was seemingly tireless in her attempts to help.
In addition to Western veterinary medicine, she employs alternative therapies including herbs and acupuncture which my dog responded well to. She even makes housecalls to help her patients for that dreaded last and final time. I highly recommend Dr. Garood and the entire staff at Great Falls Animal Hospital.

The Serbian Crown (http://www.serbiancrown.com/) offers an extensive menu of Russian and French foods. For visitors who are unaccustomed to Russian or French food, safe choices such as lobster, swordfish, salmon, trout, shrimp, mussels, scallops, clam, veal, beef, steak, lamb, and duck are available, but so are more adventurous foods such as caviar, snail, rabbit, antelope, boar, eel, emu, and venison. (Once I had kangaroo as a special!) Soups include hot or chilled borscht, French onion soup, and lobster bisque. Salads, vegetables, and dessert tend to be a bit more mainstream to an American clientele but are nonetheless assorted and delicious. Additionally, the Serbian Crown provides live music at many dinners. The restaurant is a bit expensive, so be sure to visit the website for a $20 coupon. Dress is business casual, but I have seen people dress very casually. Reservations are recommended. I have been going to this restaurant since 2003, and it is one of my favorite in the DC area. It probably serves more Russian than French food. (Why is the restaurant called Serbian?)

When my favorite pair of work heels needed new soles, I was very desperate to find someone who could make them look brand new again. The guys at Paul's really, really know what they are doing, especially with leather. They did an amazing job restoring my heels, and hopefully reinforcing them to last even longer this time. They are true experts with leather, and they can repair all kinds of items. I would trust them with anything.

This place has a very calming decor so you can focus on the good food and your lunch/dinner companion. It is a very original design. Their soups are delicious and the portion sizes are just right. Recently I tried their version of ice tea. I was warned that it isn't the typical variety but I choose to order it. When the server noticed that I wasn't drinking it, she replace it with a soda at no charge. No that's good service.

This family-owned and operated painting company is the best! They work quickly and skillfully. We have had them paint nearly our entire house and have unconditionally recommended them time and time again to friends and co-workers, who have also had the same great experience. You will not even know they were there-- they work that quickly and that neatly. There painting skill is great. Their rates are very reasonable. Their attention to detail superb. Every item of furniture will be placed back exactly where it was. We highly recommend them!

Awesome DJ company! John Paul worked at our wedding (guests were across the age spectrum, from age 8 to 80) and everyone had a GREAT time! My best friend (a college radio DJ herself) said he was the best wedding DJ she’s ever seen. Pre-planning was great; they were fantastic in sticking to the “play” and “do not play” list (despite cousins who really, really, really wanted to hear the “Chicken Dance”) – and as icing on the cake, they even surprised us at the wedding with a mix CD of all our must-play songs!

My husband and I bring our four cats and two dogs here (yes, we're overloaded with animals), and we couldn't be happier with their service. The only drawback is the fact that they have grown so big, so fast. It's fantastic, but some of the new staff members aren't as friendly as the long-timers
The vets are amazing, though. They're very good at what they do, and have great "bedside manner". The "Resort" is a great place to board and groom animals. It's a very clean, very pet-friendly facility.
The prices are high, but they're located in Great Falls, so that shouldn't be too surprising. And for the quality of care my pets are getting, cost isn't an issue.

There is no better place to take your dog or cat than Adams Mill Veterinary Hospital. The hospital practices the finest medicine in the area. Their vets are capable, competent and caring.
Take a tour of their Web site (www.AdamsMillVet.com)and you'll see what I mean. Better yet, take a tour of their facility and talk with their staff.
I only wish physicians and human hospitals practiced medicine like they do at Adams Mill.
Oh, and by the way, Adams Mill may not be accepting new patients. They're that good!! (Do ask to be put on their waiting list)
