I've traveled some, shall we say. I've been to my share of jewelers. From the Caribbean to NYC, from several spots in Europe to Israel, etc. I've purchased gems from southeast Asia, Australia, and Brazil as well. I've certainly been to much bigger stores, which have correspondingly bigger inventory, but I HAVE NEVER been to any stores that are better, and perhaps a mere handful that are equal in quality to this store. The Adeler family has an eye for colored gemstones that is unsurpassed....and of course, they have beautiful diamonds and pearls, old coins and gold, etc. But to me, it's the colored gems....I have never seen any more luscious, intense colors anywhere...positively dripping with glorious hues. I've purchased a few things....only constrained by finances, not desire....and had a few things made for me. This is truly one-of-a-kind family service, with people who are friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to design almost anything you can think of. You simply cannot go wrong in this place. I just hope they don't get so popular that I can't get in the door!

The Adelers make a great team with personal attention and knowledge in all areas of precious gems and precious metals. Adeler Jewelers is situated on a village green in up-scale Great Falls Virginia. For those of you who might be intimidated in such a setting...don't be. They are very friendly and very knowledgeable. My wife and I purchased loose gems in their store...while such a sale could not even compare with some of the sales they make to the millionaires who live in Great Falls, they took a substantial amount of time showing us the loose gems, determining which were the best, and then determining which were of similar size. The time they devoted to us put us at ease, and ensured that we would be return customers.
