The Old Brogue is worth a trip to Great Falls. It has authentic Irish fare that is very reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is in an old building, so the floors squeak and the ceilings are low and there are a lot of rooms, but it makes for a very intimate dining experience. Plus, they have a wonderful Irish Stew.

This place serves really good burgers, especially if you like them rare. There's non of that we can't serve rare meats. You get your food as you like it! They also make a juicy roast chicken from their dinner menu. The staff doesn't hang over you but is there when you need them. They aslo have reasonable weekly specials for every weekenight. I do wish they would bring back the Monday Buy one burger - get one special; it was a great deal.
PROS: Really good food.
CONS: It can be noisy.

I'm not the biggest fan of Irish food, but people who are really like the authentic Irish food. My favorite is the portobello mushroom/goat cheese appetizer, which most of the time is great - I've experienced just a little inconsistency here. The colorful nachos are great, too.
Prices are extremely reasonable.
The wait to be seated on popular Irish holidays and on a few weekends can be long, but in general one can find a table for 2 or 4 pretty quickly.
Seating is not comfortable - wooden chairs with flat seats and backs. Live music is often excellent, but almost always a bit too loud. Don't plan to carry on a conversaion at dinner time. Lunch, on the other hand is very nice, and in the summer, outdoor seating is available.
