After making a purchase during the labor day weekend (2012) we were told by the salesperson that it would take 6 six weeks for delivery. Seemed very quick to us considering other retailers usually take 8 to 12 weeks. So we placed the order and 10 weeks since, still no delivery date and the answer we get is "we have no idea when it will deliver". I call each week for an update, and get the same answer each week. No sense of urgency, no interest in calling the manufacturer to determine what is happening. So dissappointing, would not purchase from Stacy again. more

My husband and I recently bought a house in the area and now have a big house to furnish. Hearing good things about Stacy Furniture from friends, we stopped into the showroom in Allen, TX. From the minute we walked in, I felt stalked by the sales staff. There weren't many actual customers in the place--even with a big sale taking place--so it felt like all of the sale staff were watching us hungrily. The lady who greeted us and told us to "yell if you need me" was no more than 10 paces behind me while my husband and I tried to browse the store. Every time I stopped to look at a bed or table, she was there telling me the history of the company and about their current sale. We tried to tell her that we wanted to look, but she kept following us. Ignoring her seemed to make it worse, so we ended up leaving after just taking a few pictures and barely looking at furniture. Later in the day, we stopped at the Stacy Furniture in Plano, TX. When a member of sales staff there greeted us, we told him that we would come find him if we had any questions and thankfully he left us alone. However, when I went to ask him a question, he mostly ignored me and answered my question to my husband then walked over to hand my husband his card. Very rude and sexist behavior! I'm not sure if we'll go back to Stacy Furniture or not. Out of the places we've visited so far, I'd recommend Garland Furniture for customer service and quality furniture. Very friendly and helpful staff that will let you browse the store without a chaperon. I just wish we seen something there we liked! more

will say this is a beautiful store with a great selection of furniture. That's why I bought from them in the past. But something changed. On Sunday the 28th of August I went to Stacy's to by a new recliner with my wife and stepson. We selected a very nice recliner and Dallas our salesperson told us it would be delivered in the following week as a large inventory of these chairs were on a truck due that upcoming week. By late Thursday afternoon I still had heard nothing from Dallas or anyone else at Stacy's. I called and was directed to her voicemail and was told she would be in the next day and would call me first thing. By the end of the day Friday, still nothing. I called again and now told Dallas was on vacation. The person answering took my number and assured me someone would call me before the end of the day. Still nothing by Saturday afternoon, so I go to the store to get an answer. I stand in line for 10 minutes only to be pushed aside by another saleswoman who went ahead of me despite clearly seeing I was in front of her. I then went to a "concierge" table and after another woman apologized she left to go get Mr. Stacy. 10 more minutes and finally someone else shows up and asks if i have been helped. Finally I am told it will be a week to ten days. No offer to make amends. So I just canceled the sale and left the store. Too bad, my wife and I just bought a new house. Erin Crow was incredibly talented with color, design and with drawing the layout. She enhanced the kitchen plan already in place with her ideas when she was hired as the designer. We are grateful for Erin’s expertise. more

Hunter was truly exceptional. He carefully listened to our needs and patiently spent time with us on Wednesday and Thursday. In addition to Hunter, the manager was very kind as well and offered to assist us while Hunter was completing our paper work. Kim was very helpful and had all my paperwork ready when I got there. It was a very easy process. The delivery guys were fast and friendly. They called me 30 minutes in advance to tell me they were on their way. more

Shanon Tackett and Nancy Williams were the most remarkable people to work with. I was redecorating my whole house. I kinda knew what I wanted, but wasn’t sure. They came out to my house, measured my rooms, I explained what I wanted to do. They also got a feel for what I liked in style of furniture, and colors I was looking for. A week later I met with both of them at Stacy’s and they had the most wonderful selections of color, furniture, and area rugs picked out. Were ordered everything! I love everything! Didn’t change a thing when they placed everything in my rooms for me. more

There was a great selection of leather coaches – that’s what we were looking for. Shannon was very helpful and not pushy. We liked her and the store very much! more

Bob Benson is awesome; he was very patient, kind, professional and honest. A real asset to your company! I bought a couch at Ashley Furniture that arrived damaged. I will never use them again. I believe the products were damage free haven’t really had a chance to look at them just delivered this morning but from what I could see everything looks beautiful. The delivery guys were great also. Prompt, polite and they kept me informed the day of delivery. Also, as promised furniture was delivered on time and they date it was promised. I will tell everyone I know to buy from Stacy Furniture. I love Stacy Furniture- the quality of your products and I love my new chair and mattress! Can’t wait to get home and sit in it! more
