Wonderful food-the best crawfish etoufee I have ever had and I lived in Louisiana for 20 years!!!! Boiled crawfish very good also. They have great specials on Tuesdays! I drive from Plano (20 miles) just to eat there.

We had a great experience for breakfast so we went back for lunch and the croque monsieur was deliciouuuus. we had to finish with some of the great dessert they make on location just like in France.
Pros: best omelette, Migas, Panini, home made dessert and cake

La Casa is a Mexican/Tex-Mex resturaunt with excellent food. From fajita's to quesadilla's and enchilada's, La Casa has the best. On Thursday nights they have this guy come in that they call the Magic Man. He puts on a small show for the children and even creates balloon animals requested by the kids. The waitors and waitresses are very friendly, and it is truely one of the best Mexican experiences I've had at a resturaunt. If you are planning on dinner here, you may want to call ahead, because with the excellent food and superb service, they get pretty busy!

Blues, Wine and a Great Atmosphere in Heart of Grapevine
I have been going to Main Street Blues Room since it opened. I have always loved the live music and the great atmosphere. Now that it has come under new ownership, the service, the food, the wine selection and the bar are all phenomenal. It is a terrific package and I can't stop talking about it. There's a dance floor in the main restaurant. Also, on Friday's and Saturday's they are now opening their lounge. The lounge has a DJ, dance floor and a full, gorgeous bar. I believe the new name will soon be changed to Tin Spirits. Put on your dancing clothes and Enjoy the experience! -Grapevine Lover
Pros: Great music, great wine/bar and wonderful service.
Cons: come early and enjoy dinner before the music starts. it gets very crowded very fast!

Ama Lur at the Gaylord Texan is a great restaurant. Make your reservations early because most of the time they are booked. The live band was good. We sat up near the band so it was a little loud but they were enjoyable. The service here was really good. They were not intrusive or overly non-nonchalant.
The food here was amazing. I had the Sea Bass with Purple Peruvian Potatoes with a butter sauce; simply Outstanding! The presentation was beautiful also.
For a nice date or romantic evening this is a restaurant everyone should visit. It is pricey but well worth it.

Joes Crab Shack is a great place to get seafood. They have crab, lobster, shrimp, and even chicken and hamburgers. They cook theit food a number of different ways, so you pick what you want. For example you could get your shrimp done fried, char broiled, grilled, or cocunt crusted. The king crab was really good and really big too. I liked the outdoor seating they had to offer, it was under an awning so we were shaded, althought it was quite hot thanks to the Texas heat! If you have a craving for seasfood, Joes is the place to get it.

Great french entrees, soups and salads make La Madeleine a great place to eat. Unlimited cups of coffee, they have American and French Roast, to go along with unlimited amounts of bread (usually 2-4 kinds), jam and butter. Also a fabulous pastry section with a large selection of mouth watering delights. You can also purchase whole loaves of bread (usually at least 6 different varieties to choose from).
